Orion Infrasound Pyramid at Resonance

The limestone blocks of the Orion pyramids consist of mostly calcite mineral, whose structure can be triangular and octahedral in various forms. Each of the Giza pyramids is apparently designed as the top half of an octahedron, monumental formations of calcite. The angular mathematics of the Orion pyramidal design will be addressed shortly, but their limestone blocks contain information regarding the construction methods of the pyramid builders.

Research of J. Davidovits into ancient geopolymers has demonstrated through chemical X-ray analysis that the casing stones of the Giza pyramids are synthetic, being of lower density than any quarried stone due to trapped air bubbles and consisting of 85-90% calcite with other exotic mineral constituents like opal CT, hydroxy-apatite and silico-aluminates. CAT-scan work on the core stones have recorded hairs deeply embedded in the matrix of the stone, another clue that the pyramid blocks were cast using liquid stone, though RC14 dating of hair samples contained in the stone have not been reported. This type of test could establish firm construction dates for the stones, though the likelihood of later facade reconstruction is strong. Corroborating evidence for the ancient use of advanced geopolymers comes from Mesopotamia, where the manufacture of basalt has been extensively documented. Note that the synthetic stones are of high piezoelectric crystalline content.

Diverse new technologies have incorporated fractal patterning for signal enhancement, data compression and encryption. Recent acoustic resonance experiments have illuminated a connection between the phi ratio and a nonlinear acoustic standing wave structure. Cervenka, Bednarik and Konicek at the Czech Technical University in Prague have modeled the structure of a nonlinear standing wave excited in a cylindrical resonator. Driven by periodic oscillations a resonant cavity can be stimulated to its fundamental resonant frequency producing both harmonics and subharmonics. When the standing wave is driven into high amplitude the nonlinear effects couple energy from low to high-frequency modes.

This increase in harmonics can create a shockwave, diminishing the quality of the resonator dramatically. Multifrequency driving of the resonant cavity has been used to increase the energy storing. If the energy is coupled to lower frequencies, or subharmonics, less acoustic dissipation is observed allowing for a more efficient system. Bednarik describes Resonant Macrosonic Synthesis:

[T]he interactions of acoustic waves at some fixed frequencies without the energy losses in the higher harmonics is of considerable interest in acoustics. Such interaction creates the possibility of direct transformation of coherent sound at the given frequency by sound of another frequency without an electro-magnetic energy source... For a region of three modes with given angular frequencies, if the sum of two of them is equal to the remaining one, the interactions of these modes can be obtained from the nonhomogenous Burgers equation for nonlinear standing waves.

The phi ratio describes the relative proportions of the three frequencies that stimulate the nonlinear standing wave and is also apparent in the modeled distribution of acoustic pressure along the resonant cavity which results. The coherent nonlinear structure was achieved through periodic stimulation of a medium of precise geometric boundaries designed to induce the interaction of three different resonant modes in the ratio of phi. This standing wave structure informs the phi geometry of the Orion pyramids, elucidated by the superimposition of the pattern onto a cross-section of the Great Pyramid taken along the North-South axis. The high-amplitude transduction of the piezoelectric limestone of the pyramids creates an electromagnetic field around the structures, the movement of electrons becoming toriodal or donut-shaped.

The base length of the Great Pyramid informs the fundamental resonant tone created by the structures. Each base side of the pyramids has roughly been calculated at 760’, creating a fundamental frequency of about 1.5 hz when the pyramids are stimulated into high amplitude. The periodic pulsation of the pyramids operating at resonance creates a Fibonacci standing waveset centered on the 760’ wavelength bounded by the base of the pyramid. The angles of the standing waves exactly correspond to the slope of the pyramid’s faces: in the phi angle of 51.85 degrees. This baseline frequency of 1.5 hz has been described as the Tri-thalamic entrainment frequency shown to synchronize the pulsation of the hypothalamus, pineal and pituitary gland into a unified functioning. This frequency is also the lowest frequency of Schumann Resonance, thus the function of the pyramids may indeed be to shift the fundamental frequency of the Earth down from its fluctuations near 7.3 hz to the tri-thalamic frequency of 1.5 hz.

This resonance structure is recognized as a solid-state global oscillator that functions in wavelengths of pure consciousness itself, entraining the human mind through redistribution and focusing of the global mind. Indigenous cultures across the globe recognize the Earth as a sentient being in itself, and as consciousness has a frequency that can be measured as the EEG, then the frequencies of Schumann Resonance can be understood as the vital pulse of Earth. Ancient wisdom passed on through the traditions of the Yaqui and Toltec cultures of present-day Mexico overtly describe the Earth’s emanations and the corresponding alignment of the emanations of humans, a notion described by modern science as the Frequency Following Response. The pineal gland contains microcrystalline calcite biomineralizations (Bacconier, Lang et al) that transduce frequencies of consciousness.

Another ancient wisdom tradition from Aboriginal Australia, perhaps the oldest surviving culture of humanity that stems back at least 70,000 years, describes the nature of unified consciousness as the Rainbow Snake: "Oneness is essence, purity, creativity, love, unlimited, unbounded energy. Many of the tribal stories refer to the Rainbow Snake which represents the weaving line of energy or consciousness that starts as total peace, changes vibration, and becomes color, sound, and form" (Morgan, "Mutant Message Down Under" p 149). Quantum biology and nonlinear acoustics now possess the tools to comprehend the seemingly abstract concepts of indigenous cosmovision in quantified terms.

The octagonal structure of Earth’s consciousness is quantified in this work; the very shape of the collective unconscious to which sentient beings attune themselves. The Orion pyramids’ output likely induces a shift in the fundamental frequency of the Earth down to the lowest frequency of SR at 1.5 hz, allowing a parallel shift in the entrained human consciousness. Yaqui knowledge keepers precisely describe this shift in the alignment of the perception of man as an awareness of previously inaudible frequencies of infrasound:

[T]he portion of the emanations inside man’s cocoon is in there only for awareness, and that awareness is matching that portion of the emanations with the same portion of emanations at large. They are called emanations at large because they are immense... inside man’s cocoon the unknown is the emanations untouched by awareness. When the glow of awareness touches them, they become active and can be aligned with the corresponding emanations at large. Once that happens the unknown is perceived and becomes the known. (Castenada, "The Fire Within" p 207)

This process of alignment that allows a heightened perception of otherwise inaudible infrasound is clearly shown by indigenous teachings to be the key to understanding the unknown; phenomena that remain for misaligned modern humanity as "paranormal."

The internal chambers of the Great Pyramid are constructed of massive rose granite blocks cut with precise right angles and perfectly planed faces, brought from the nearest granite quarry in Aswan directly to the south. The surface of the stone is covered in a thin glaze of quartz, the main constituent of granite, which is typical of a stonecutting technique now known as thermal disaggregation. I. Watkins, Professor of Geosciences at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, has designed a "Solar powered focusing and directing apparatus for cutting, shaping, and polishing", U.S. Patent No. 4,611,857 (1986) for the thermal disaggregation of stone. The lightweight unit is a parabolic reflector that focuses only a few hundred watts of light into a 2mm point capable of melting granite at a 2mm depth upon each slowly repeated pass. The notes of Garcilaso de la Vega have described the findings of the Conquistadors upon arrival in the Andes, detailing the Incas’ large gold-covered parabolic stone bowls over 10’ in diameter which were destroyed and processed into ingots. Strong similarities exist between the polygonal stonemasonry of the Andes and the pre-Egyptian Giza region, specifically the common surface glazing of quartz and perfectly rendered complex geometries, suggesting an identical advanced solar technology was used in the complex stoneworks.

Rose granite was used in the construction of the internal chambers because of its resonant properties. The quartz matrix of the granite stones is like a hall of mirrors with billions of parallel faces reflecting energy. The effect of this encasement in granite is that the airspaces can be given harmonic dimensions to specify the wavelengths, which will resonate through the formation of standing waves. The dimensions of the upper chamber reflect a 1:2 ratio, allowing standing waves of integer multiples to store acoustic energy. Acoustical engineer J. Reid carried out acoustic experiments revealing the resonant frequency of the upper chamber to be 121 hz. Resonance in the upper chamber’s granite box (erroneously dubbed the "sarcophagus") was found at 117 hz. The interaction of these slightly offset resonant frequencies was most strongly felt while inside the granite box, creating a resounding beat frequency that closely matches the human heartbeat. Reid’s subsequent research into human heartbeat rhythms revealed that the beats recorded in the granite box matched exactly those of newborn infants. As the heart rhythms of an individual change over the course of its development, an adult’s heartbeat may be entrained through the acoustic beating of the granite box to imitate the heart rate of an infant. The most astounding aspects of Reid’s work in the Great Pyramid involved cymatic experiments which are best described in his own words, revealing the tonal origin of hieroglyphic symbols.

The HeartMath Institute has shown a regulated heart rate to be crucial to the formation of a coherent electromagnetic field of the heart, and to allow intentional relaxation of the DNA helix that is associated with positive emotions. The direct correlation between the stimulated beat frequencies of the granite box and a healthy infant heartbeat suggest the chambers’ design purpose. As the effect is caused by the interactions of the slightly offset resonant frequencies of the upper chamber (121 hz) and the granite box (117 hz), the dimensions of both have most likely been calibrated to the heartbeat of a healthy newborn.

The low human voice creates a resonance in the upper chamber that entrains a healthy biorhythm in a newborn infant. The granite box may have been a natal bath, the water’s surface rippling in beautiful cymatic wave patterns to be broken by the first breath of the newborn. The damaged corner of the granite box denies its ability to hold liquids suggesting a purposeful destruction, as is the case with the other granite boxes discovered.

Rather than a tomb for the dead, it appears the upper chamber and granite box were designed and used as a nativity center for stabilizing the biorhythms of the mother and child during their separation at birth. The ratio of the dimensions of the upper chamber, one-two, can also be considered a mathematical or acoustical symbolism which supports this hypothesis. Physical evidence that the chambers were designed for this purpose was discovered during early twentieth century investigations of the ascending shafts. A carved stone tool was found sealed in one of the ascending shafts of the mid chamber. The artifact is interpreted to be a peshesh khaf, used in ancient times to sever a newborn’s umbilical cord, in the ritual act separating mother from child.

The ascending shafts are directly aligned to the geographic North and South poles, having been specifically designed as receivers of the lowest frequencies of infrasound at 0.5 hz that align precisely to the shaft openings. The changes in angle of the oblong rectangular shafts are subtle and intriguing, affecting the propagation of sound in ways that are not yet understood. The location of the natal tool in the ascending shaft suggests a resonant function also related to the biorhythmic entrainment of a newborn infant. The dimensions of the 6’ long horizontal portion of the shafts are just large enough to accommodate a newborn infant. It then seems likely that the shafts were designed to focus 0.5 hz infrasound waves upon a newborn placed in the shafts as they open into the upper chamber.

As there are two shafts ascending from both the upper chamber and the lower chamber, even twins could be accommodated in a natal entrainment ritual involving psychoacoustic resonance. The cranial augmentation observed of ancient Egyptian royalty may be a direct result of fetal gestation and natal biorhythmic entrainment at the Great Pyramid. The complete set of angles of the internal chambers and the pyramid entrance are clearly aligned as receivers to the Fibonacci network of standing waves (previous image).

A balanced, full-spectrum infrasound environment has been shown to stimulate both emotional relaxation and DNA helical structural relaxation, or "denaturation". Vibrational research in Russia has demonstrated a nonlocal mode of DNA communication through an omnipresent field. The interaction has often been described as holographic and based on nonlinear coupling of DNA with electromagnetic fields, a topic to be expanded upon in this chapters conclusion. As the first months after birth are well known to be developmentally influential, perhaps exposure during and after birth to the full infrasonic range may increase DNA development and a biorhythm of balanced consciousness.

The cranial volumes of the Pharaohnaic families were extraordinary, most notably that of Akhenaton, Nefertiti and their children. Since the unusually elongated crania have been observed in statuary depictions of even the youngest children, the assumption has been made that it was genetically related. Perhaps, in light of the new acoustical data from the Great Pyramid’s chambers this assumption may be confirmed and understood to be a result of the infrasonic stimulation, the advanced art of genetic enhancement. The elongated skulls of the ruling families of ancient high civilizations may have been developed through gestational entrainment techniques under the Great Pyramid’s magnetic umbrella.

Known Ayurvedic techniques of augmenting the energetic levels of water have been associated with the vibrations of particular oils, yet the likelihood is great that the granite box in the Great Pyramid’s upper chamber may have been used to energize not only the water within the body of the bather (during gestation or otherwise), but perhaps was employed as a system to energize water that could be transported and consumed elsewhere. The most advanced energetic water technologies will be fully addressed as unique discoveries have been made in association with ancient artifacts that include sacred Sanskrit symbolism, script and depictions of the Great Pyramid at Giza thousands of miles away. The ancient notion of making a temple of the body may in fact refer to the crystallization of the liquid body for the benefit of human DNA.

Coming One Day Near You - A Mega-Tsunami

One day, a giant wave travelling at 125 mph across open water could crash into Sydney harbour, wipe out the beaches of California or plough across the golf courses of northeast Scotland.

Mega-tsunamis have happened with greater frequency than modern science would like to believe, and no coastline in the world is safe, says Canadian geologist-geographer Edward Bryant.

He said he had found signs of giant waves sweeping over 425 feet high headlands in southeast Australia, roaring down the U.S. West Coast and carving into the bedrock of the Scottish coastline north of Edinburgh.

"I believe St. Andrews golf course is a tsunami deposit," Bryant, head of geosciences at Wollongong University south of Sydney, told Reuters.

Over the past 2,000 years, tsunamis have officially killed 462,597 people in the Pacific region alone [not including the massive number of deaths caused by the Indian Ocean tsunami a few years ago – Ed], with the largest toll recorded in the Japanese islands.

Of the top recorded events, the Lisbon earthquake of 1755 is said to have triggered a 15-meter high wave that destroyed the port of Lisbon and caused widespread destruction in southwest Spain, western Morocco and across the Atlantic in the Caribbean.

Modern science blames the killer waves on earthquakes and most countries believe they are immune.

But in his book, "Tsunamis -- The Underrated Hazard," Bryant argues that submarine landslides, underwater volcanoes and even the potentially catastrophic scenario of a meteorite impact must also be taken into account when evaluating tsunami risk.

That means a destructive tsunami moving at 250 meters per second in deep water, 85 meters per second across continental shelves and at 10 meters per second at shore could strike an unprotected coastal metropolis anywhere, killing thousands.

Geological Dabbler to Catastrophist

In 1989, Bryant was dabbling into the coastal evolution of rock platforms and sand barriers along the New South Wales coastline of eastern Australia when he noticed something strange.

Giant boulders, some the size of boxcars and weighing almost 100 tons, were jammed 33 meters above sea level into a crevice at the top of a rock platform sheltered from storm waves.

Further field work found gravel dunes on a 130-meter-high headland and other massive boulders more than 100 meters inland. Bryant then examined bedrock that had been savagely eroded and found that headlands carved into inverted toothbrushes, where a gap had been roughly gouged in the middle, existed from Cairns in the far northeast to Victoria state in the south.

This could not be explained by normal wave action or storms.

"But a tsunami could do this," Bryant said.

"From being a trendy process geomorphologist wrapped in the ambience of the 1960s, I had descended into the abyss of catastrophism," Bryant writes in his book.

Similar toothbrush headlands exist in northeast Scotland and gravel has been dumped up to 30 km inland in Western Australia.

To the scorn of many modern scientists, Bryant says it is "naive" to base what we know about tsunamis simply on documented history.

In North America and Australia, official history only goes back as far as white colonization. We may be ignoring the legends of the Indians of North America, the Aborigines of Australia or the Maoris of New Zealand at our peril, he said.

Oral Legends

We ignore all oral record and it's probably a significant oversight," Bryant told Reuters. One Aboriginal tale tells how one of the four pillars holding up the sky collapsed in the east and the sea also fell in.

The Maoris of New Zealand have long spoken of a time of fire that burned the land to a crisp.

A legend told by the Kwenaitchechat people of the U.S. Pacific Northwest tells of a great shaking of the earth that led to the sea receding and then coming back in a great wall.

Using dating techniques, Bryant argues there is evidence that eastern Australia was struck by a mega-tsunami around 1500, which would coincide with the Aboriginal tale of a "great white wave." The Aboriginal accounts of fire in the sky mean a comet crashing into the South Tasman Sea could have been responsible. Carbon dating indicates a great fire ravaged New Zealand at the same time, giving further weight to the theory of a comet. [This asteroid impact in the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand has been dated to the 1520s by various other sources; the more recent huge wave in 1700, mentioned below, likely affected the entire Pacific and was caused by volcanic activity and underwater landslides emanating from Hawaii - Ed]

And Bryant said Japanese researchers probing past tsunamis had found evidence of a massive earthquake off Oregon in January 1700 that would coincide with the Indian tales, and with a Pacific seismic zone where the Juan de Fuca tectonic plate grinds under the North American plate in a process called subduction.

"We now know the Oregon subduction zone goes every 300 years. 1700 - 2002?" he wonders with raised eyebrows.

Bryant's suspicions of meteor and comet impacts a relatively short time ago rile many in the scientific community who believe the chances of Earth colliding with space debris are tiny.

But Bryant says computer modelling suggests a meteor would not have to be a "dinosaur killer" to cause a mega-tsunami. A chunk 100 meters in diameter moving at 20 meters per second could theoretically produce a tsunami that is 27 meters high at source.

SUBMARINE LANDSLIDES

Focusing on extreme scenarios such as meteorite impacts may also underestimate the risk of a mega-tsunami.

Contentiously, Bryant argues that underwater landslides, which can involve thousands of cubic kilometres of material, may have the power alone to generate the giant waves.

A 1998 earthquake off northwest Papua New Guinea has been blamed for a tsunami that killed around 2,000 people near Aitape.

But according to conventional scientific wisdom, the 7.1 magnitude was too small to be responsible for the 15-meter wave that at some points swept 500 meters inland.

Bryant says a submarine landslide was the likely villain.

Another landslide-induced tsunami may have been responsible for shaping the Scottish coastline, including the dunes of St. Andrews, 7,000 years ago.

Scientists have found indications of a large submarine landslide at Storegga off the east coast of Norway that Bryant says could have sent a wave originally measuring 8-12 meters roaring into the North Sea and across the Atlantic.

Worryingly, he says geologists at the University of Sydney have recently mapped around 170 submarine landslide zones off Sydney, Australia's largest city with four million inhabitants. What's more, he has found signs that tsunamis have struck the New South Wales coast with alarming regularity every 500 years.

If you take the risk seriously, it does not take much to save human life from tsunamis.

Chile, Japan and Hawaii already have warning systems and evacuation drills [at the time of writing; a few more exist now – Ed]. Seabed sensors can send tsunami warnings via satellite triggering bells, alarms and telephones within minutes.

"The only guarantee or prediction is that they will happen again, sometime soon, on a coastline near you," Bryant concludes.

"Tsunami are very much an underrated, widespread hazard. Any coast is at risk."

A LARGE asteroid or comet, the kind that could kill a quarter of the world's population, smashed into the Indian Ocean 4800 years ago, producing a tsunami more than 180 metres high - about 13 times as big as the one that hit Indonesia almost two years ago.

The startling claim is made by a group of researchers, including Australians, who cite as evidence a newly discovered crater, 29 kilometres in diameter, 3800 metres below the surface of 1600 kilometres south-east of Madagascar.

Most astronomers doubt that any large comets or asteroids have crashed into the Earth in the past 10,000 years. But the self-described "band of misfits" that make up the Holocene Impact Working Group say astronomers simply have not known how or where to look for evidence of such impacts along the world's shorelines and in the deep ocean.

Scientists in the working group say the evidence for such impacts during the past 10,000 years is strong enough to overturn estimates of how often the Earth suffers a violent impact on the order of a 10-megaton explosion. Instead of once in 500,000 to 1 million years, as astronomers now calculate, catastrophic impacts could happen every few thousand years.

The researchers, who formed the working group after finding one another through an international conference, are based in the US, Australia, Russia, France and Ireland. [In 2006] the group started using Google Earth, a free source of satellite images, to search the globe for chevrons - enormous wedge-shaped sediment deposits, that are composed of material from the ocean floor - which they interpret as evidence of past giant tsunamis.

Ted Bryant, a geomorphologist at the University of Wollongong, was the first person to recognise the palm prints of mega-tsunamis. Large tsunamis of 10 metres or more were caused by volcanoes, earthquakes and submarine landslides, Dr Bryant said, and their deposits have different features.

Deposits from mega-tsunamis contained unusual rocks with marine oyster shells, which could not be explained by wind erosion, storm waves, volcanoes or other natural processes, he said.

"We're not talking about any tsunami you've ever seen. Aceh was a dimple. No tsunami in the modern world could have made these features." Dr Bryant identified two chevrons found about six kilometres inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria. Both point north.

When Dallas Abbott, an adjunct research scientist at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, in New York, visited a year ago, he asked her to find the craters.

To locate craters Dr Abbott uses sea surface altimetry data. Satellites scan the ocean surface and log the exact height of it. Underwater mountain ranges, trenches and holes in the ground disturb the Earth's gravitational field, causing sea surface heights to vary by fractions of a centimetre. Within 24 hours of searching the shallow water north of the two chevrons she found two craters.

She obtained samples from deep sea sediment cores taken in the area by the Australian Geological Survey.

"We think these two craters are 1200 years old," she said. The chevrons are well preserved and date to about the same time.

And what the people of the world are enslaved to, is a system of perpetual self generating debt that is created for them wholly by design by private international banking interests, and the people are taught from an early age to just except this debt, because this is 'just the way things are'.

But the real reality is that it is NOT just the way things are, but more the way things have been designed and all one has to do is glance around them at the state of the world today to realise that though this is the way things current are, it is most definitely NOT the way things should be.

The most powerful and useful tool a person can ever gain in their life is knowledge for with knowledge comes wisdom and a deeper understanding and real truth can be exhilarating because real truth will set you free.

Now Whether you believe in the Illuminati or not, whether you will take the time to listen to so called conspiracy theories or not, there are some things that should be clearly understood by all. And these are not conspiracy theories by any stretch of the imagination, they are well documented, quite traceable and very provable facts. And these facts are as follows.

There is one ruling bloodline that exists on this earth. This ruling Bloodline is very old. It is the same bloodline that has always ruled the earth ever since the days of ancient Egypt and it is very pervasive. For example, many people think that anyone can get to be President of the United States, but the reality is, that all US presidents have been freemasons, a large number of them are in fact related, and that their lineage can be traced back to European Monarchy and in particular to the line of William of Orange. This elite Bloodline can actually be traced back a good deal further than of William of Orange and can even back as far as the royalty of ancient Egypt. It is this very same bloodline that has ruled the earth ever since and to which the british Monarchy and the current US president can both be ultimately traced. Many people may surprised to learn That US President George W Bush is in fact the 13th cousin of Queen Elizabeth the second, the current British Monarch.

Reverence for the royal egyptian bloodline and worship of Amen Ra is still carried out in the world today though it is veiled and secretive but the symbolism remains true, as alway hidden in plain view. Adherence to such traditions is why each of the 3 city states of london, vatican and the district of Columbia all have their own obelisks. The London Obelisk is also accompanied by 2 sphinx wrought in the image of Thutmoses indicating that it is in london that the royal bloodline actually resides. The fact that out of all the Pharo's to choose from, the London sphinx depicts Thustmoses, is actually very telling indeed for a number of reasons but that is another tale.

The British Monarchy is steeped in ancient traditions and symbolisim and they do not attempt to hide these connections, they just dont mention them or answer questions about them, but the signs and symbols are right there for discerning eyes to clearly see, again and as always, hidden in plain view. Just a look at the Royal Coat of Arms, the Royal Regalia and the Coronation Throne clearly demonstrates these connections.

The evidence linking that these rulers to the one bloodline is does exist and all the information to verify these claims is available within the public domain. It is up to each of you to connect the dots yourself.

More importantly however is the fact that Over the last 200 odd years there has devoloped behind this ruling bloodline, another elite class, somewhat similar to a priesthood, that remains hidden in the shadows. This shadowy priesthood, is the money changers. The international banking elite, consisting of 13 very influential families and it is this shadowy elite who ultimately controls things from behind the scenes. This control is achieved through covert manipulation of the global money systems, and maintained through an intricate web of interconnected secret societies, through which control over the flow of all money, all resources, all food, and most importantly, all information, thru manipulation of the worlds educational institutions and corporate media, is also achieved. Many of these smaller secret societies, are completely oblivious to the existence of the others, but all lead back to a round table of six, and ultimately, to just one at the very top, that is populated by a virtual handful of individuals. It is this handful of very powerful men that controls all the other societies, and through them the heartbeat of the entire world.

The society that sits at the very top, was founded on Knights Templar traditions in Bavaria in 1776 by a man called Adam Weishaupt, and this is the order of the illuminati. The man who commissioned Weishaupt for the task was Mayer Amschel Rothschild, and it was done in order to carry out a plan conceived by Rothschild and the heads of 12 other families at a secret meeting that took place in 1773. These families included the Warburgs, the Schiffs and the Oppenheimers. The Illuminati has since become the most powerful society in the world, and in the last 230 years, it has been instrumental in helping the Rothschild family accumulate over one half of the worlds total wealth, at the cost of quite literally, millions of innocent lives. The horded wealth of this one family alone, could comfortably feed, clothe, and house, every man, woman, and child on earth. And this just one of the 13 illuminati families.

The goal of the illuminati has always been a simple one and that is to achieve, by whatever means possible, total ownership and control, over no less than every resource, every government, every rock, every drop of water, every blade of grass,and every living creature, both human, and non human, in the entire world. And since its inception, for over 230 years, the order of the illuminati has been tirelessly, relentlessly, and unfalteringly, steering its members towards the achievement of that one ultimate goal. Some people claim that the Illuminati is a myth and that what is really to blame are oganizations such as zionism but I assure you that such is not the case. It goes far deeper than Zionism and such people have simply limited the scope of their vision. They have locked to to an anwser that supports their beliefs and have refused to delve any deeper. They are not seeing the Bigger picture. And it is important to listen to all the information and not just that which reinforces your beliefs because this conspiracy goes very deep and Zionism and the jewish influence over the money system is merely one layer of it. And it goes still deeper than even the illuminati. Those whom we know as the illuminati are merely the shadowy controllers.

The plan that is unfolding in the world today is indeed an old one, and it is a plan that is very complex, but not so with the system of control that is in place to blind the people to its existence. This system of control just appears to be complex, but in reality, it isn't. In reality, its very simple, and very fragile. However it is its apparent complexity, that has kept it so well veiled, and it has also been kept very well hidden by constructing a conspiracy culture to breed around it, and by then promoting an air of endless ridicule towards such concepts. Indeed, the creation, and proliferation of such a culture, and the promotion of constant ridicule towards it, has been one of the illuminati's most valuable assets in obscuring the reality of the society's existence.

The entire Illuminati system is today operated by the crown, and what is the crown exactly. Well contrary to popular belief the crown does not refer to the Royal family or to the british monarchy but to the Inner city of London which in actual fact is a privately owned corporation that functions as a completely seperate sovereign state, outside the Juristiction of Englnd, the same as its two sister city states of Vatican and Washingtons district of columbia, all of which combine to form the Empire of the three cities. Most people are completely unaware that when they swear alliegence to the crown they are actually swearing alliegence to this a private Corporate Empire owned by the the 13 Illuminati families. These are the same private individuals who also indirectly own and operate the world bank. And what does the world bank do exactly, well apart from other things like control global oil prices, it lends money to whole countries by supplying each countries Federal Reserve Bank and then it collects interest on these loans which is paid by taxing the the labor of the people of each country.

Now let me just run that by you again so you clearly understand how this really works.

If you live in a country that has a federal reserve bank, then the world bank, a privately run company that is able to legally create money from thin air, is who supplies your country with money, at interest, and you the individual is required to pay a tax on your labor to pay off the interest on the governments loan from this private bank. Many people are duped into believing that their taxes pay for infrastructure and without taxes their would be no roads or schools and the country would fall apart, but this is completely untrue. The Govt has the legal right to coin its own money and control its value but it does not. It borrows money from a private bank and uses this bank loan to pay for infrastructure and you are taxed in order to pay of the interest on the loan, interest, which from a business perspective, is pure profit for the international banksters.

However you choose to look at it one thing must be very clearly understood and that is that each person in the western world who has a job, is forced every year, to give away approximately 3 months worth of wages in taxes and that tax money goes directly into the pockets of the private individuals who own and run the world bank.

Its one big, privately run scam. And if you ever allow yourself to be microchipped and cash money is abolished altogether, which is their plan, then all bills and all taxes will be automatically removed from your account when they are due, whether you actually owe the money or not, and if you complain about the system, well they can simply turn off your chip. Since all commerce will center around the chip, you will not be able to buy food, or pay rent or do anything and there will be absolutely nothing whatsover that you can do about it. And that is their goal. To limit the size of the population on earth and microchip those that are left. Then its game set and match and total control of the world and everyone in it will be in the hands of an international cartel of criminal banksters.

This whole scam is being planned and carried out very methodically. It is these people and their minions and puppets who attend such gatherings as bilderberg meetings and the Bohemian Grove summer festival and who still adhere closely to the schools of ancient mystery which many such as the late Bill Cooper have referred to as the Ancient Mystery Religion. However it is more a mechanism of control designed to reach an ultimate goal rather than a religion.

Though steeped in ritual and what many would term 'black magic', It is simply a system, the illuminati system and though its workings seem complex to the layman, In reality its quite simple, and its also very easy to see, once one has acquired the correct manner of looking at things. And there is definite purpose and reason in the ritualistic nature of this system, in its use of numerology, symbolism and ritual, and all that is needed to realize this is a deeper understanding of the true nature of the Universe and how we are all connected to it. However this film directs its focus on the system itself and the key to this system functioning, which is thru covert control of the money supply by very few people.

It is crucial that people become aware of this because the methods by which society could free itself from this system of control are also very simple, once a person has gained an understanding of the true realities of this world we live in and this is not as difficult a task as you may at first think, because due to its complexities, the illusion the elite have created, that most perceive as reality, is a very fragile one.

It is fragile because it is not reality.

The reality is that the world does not have to be this way at all, it does not have to be heading in the direction it is heading, people do not have to live in a never ending sea of self generating debt. Wars do not have to be fought and children do NOT have to starve, and dont think people starve because the world is over populated. Dont believe what the Televisions tells you, the world isnt over populated at all. In fact lets look at it realistically with a simple comparison of population versus land mass, and we can do a rough estimate and formulate a quick hypothetical to demonstrate this very easily.

There are approximately 6 billion people in the world and there is 2.97 million square miles of land in the Island continent of Australia. 2.97 million square miles breaks down to 1 billion, 900 million, 800,000 acres which then converts down to 7,603,200,000 quarter acre blocks of land. So we could hypothetically give every person in the world a quarter acre block of land and they would all fit into an area the size of australia, each would have enough land that they could all have gardens and grow a substantial supply of their own food, and we would still have 1,603,200,000 quarter acre blocks, or an area roughly half the size of queensland left over - plus the entire rest of the world. Now just pause to let that sink in to your brain for a second. ALL the people, thats every man woman and child on earth would comfortably fit inside australia, each individual person could have a quarter acre block of land and we would STILL have half of queensland and the entire rest of the PLANET left totally unoccupied.

The world is not over populated at all. Its just very badly managed and and you need have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that this bad management is intentional, and it is methodical. It would however, be very simple to fix things. And all that is required is for people to wake up to how much they are being lied to and how much they are being scammed. And this goes for everyone.

People really need to gain an understand of how this system actually works because this bad management is crippling the world and it is crippling the people. The methods that are used to do this become truly transparent once a person has gained a clear enough vision to see it and people really do need to open their eyes to see it right now because now that the world has been made smaller and now that all resources have been discovered and there are no frontiers left to conquer, the criminal elite intend to carry out a mass depoplulation of this world and their plan to do this is well underway. They are doing it in the middle east with war, in countries such as Africa through starvation and now in western countries through water additives, aerial spraying and through the introduction of toxic and nutrient deficient GM foods. This is to very soon be taken to the next level with the Global Implementation of Codex Alimentarius, an insidious set of food guidelines that are due to come into effect world wide on dec 31st 2009. But people are now beginning to wake and realize that all is not right and they are beginning to speak out. The police need to understand this situation and take action to address these matters as well, and this is very important and there is no reason the Police should act against the people who are waking up and speaking out about this corrupt system, for the police are also being scammed, just as badly and in some ways even worse than everyone else. Worse because it is the Police who are being coerced and tricked into defending this elitist corruption by puppet govts put in place by the banksters who coerce these officers into compliance by applying creative names to such public awakenings such as 'social unrest' or 'civil disobedience' and by instilling a robot like adherence to authority within the minds of police officers rather than a stong set of moral values.

The police in these cases should stand by the people they are sworn to protect, not blindly follow instructions given to them by the criminal elites to repress the people. The police need to realize that they too Are the people and they are being stolen from and used as well and the way to beat this system is for the people, the police and everybody else is to simply stop agreeing with it. And the also for the politicians who bow to these corrupt money cartels and enact these ridicluous pieces of legislation. The Politicians, need to think seriously about what they are doing. They need to realise that these money cartels dont care about them or their families, these politicians have children and grandchildren who are also going to have to live in this world that is being created. And dont kid yourself that there is a politician in a position of power who isnt a puppet. All are puppets of the money cartels without exception. These people may well have been voted into power but the voting process is simply theater for the masses, to promote the illusion of peoples choice. The people may vote for one particular candidate over another, but they do not get to actually decide who these candidates will be to begin with.

The people of the world need to realize their own potential and wake up from the dream they are living in. Forget what you are told and trained to you by the TV because its a lie. TV is there to train people what to think and how to act. End of list. It is nothing more than a tool of propaganda that has successfully brainwashed 95% of the western world by feeding people manufactured news, disinformation and giving people an utterly false perception of the the world and of their relationship to each other. Turn your TV off and leave it off, after even a month of no TV, you will be surprised at how much better and healthier you feel.

It needs to be clearly understood by people everywhere that the elite only have the power over the people that the people themselves grant to them, so stop giving it to them. Stop doing what the TV tells you to do and stop complying with the system. Understand that there truly is no division among the people of the world no matter who they are or where they are from. We are all people and we are all one. It is through the constantly promoted illusion of division that the system is able to function but in order for it to do so, it needs public compliance. Stop complying and you will shut the system down.

You will shut it down completely because if people stop complying, it will simply implode. It will collapse like a house of cards. And all it would take for this to occur, is global awareness of how it really works.

We have reached a turning point in history and the veil of secrecy that has always surrounded the illuminati system is now at last being lifted. Now is the time for the people of the world to look after each other, and not the system.

It really is that simple, and the world is almost on the verge of that happening now, because a new awareness is growing among the people. More and more are waking up every day, and they are spreading the word, as we all should do as often and as loudly as we can, because the masses who are still sleeping really must be woken up to what is occurring, there is quite literally nothing more important than this issue.

And This plan goes even deeper than the International money Cartels. There truly are deep dark forces at work controlling things here but it is through the maniplulation of the money system that global control is maintained and it is that system that must first be addressed

Its all very well for us to all talk about this stuff and to continue learning and gathering more information about it, but the time for merely gathering information is now passed. What is needed now is action, and it is needed very quickly because the prison door is swinging shut.

Please understand that these people plan on depopulating at least 80% of the world and that most likely includes you. This is not a joke and it is not some wild conspiracy theory. It is the absolute truth and this matter seriously needs to be addressed. All the information on how they intend to do this is available in the public domain though of course you are not hearing it reported by the mainstream media because the money cartels OWN the mainstream media.

What is truly needed at this time is for the good people of the world to act and to act now. The world that we are allowing to be created for our childrn to live in is a world that will not be worth living in. and if we just allow the situation to continue along its current path then we are condemning our decendents to hell on earth, but We are many and they are few and it simply must not be allowed to occur.

It is time for the people of the world to stop and realise that the divisions that supposedly exists amongst us are an illusion. There is no division. Its time for everyone to understand the truth of this. Its time to approach the world and each other in a state of love rather than a state of fear. Its time for you to tap into the source and realize your own potential and its time for us all to collectively stand together and address the root cause of the problem. And all of you need to spread this information, its very important that you do. Burn DVD's and hand them out to people. Bring the conversation up at every opportunity. This issue is too important to ignore and if your not part of the solution then your part of the problem, theres simply no middle ground.

Bring all the truth factions of the world together under one banner, the banner of human unity. Set aside your differences and work the finer details out later. Regardless of who or what is the ultimate intelligence behind this plan for global control, everyone needs to understand clearly that the Fascist New World Order that is being introduced and the mass depopulation that is occurring across the globe is being implemented by the criminal banking elite.

The money system is the head of the snake.

Cut the head off the snake and the rest of it will whither and die.

Stop complying with it and you will shut it down. And the best form of non compliance is love. Approach every issue with love. And if a leader wants to send you to war, say no sir, I wont murder other peoples children for you any more. You'll have to go and do it yourself. You will be called coward by the military but such is not the case. It is much easier to fight for principles than to live up to them and it takes a far braver man to stand up for what is right and spit in the face of authority than it does to blindly follow orders due to fear of the consequences.

Understand that we are all one and the key to real change and unity in this world lies with love.

There need be No violence, no guns, no banners, no slogans, no group think, just a united act of global non compliance. Non compliance for any thing in conflict with the directives out lined in the universal declaration of human rights would be a good start. Simply stop giving these people the power to control you. Understand that the only power they have is the power the people themselves grant to them. Understand that injustice towards one is injustice towards all. Injustice against him, is injustice against you and there should be no grey area in you mind in regard to that. Everyone needs to stop going along with it. And it needs to be done immediately. Its time to cut the head off the snake.

Investigation of Baxter Swine Flu Vaccine

Many questions surround a vaccine that’s rushed into the human bloodstream

The New Zealand Minister of Health, Hon Tony Ryall, has asked Ministry of Health officials to urgently advise him on issues raised about a "swine flu" vaccine produced by Baxter International Inc. This follows his receipt of a letter raising concerns about whether vaccines produced by Baxter for "swine flu" can be trusted.

In an open letter to all members of the New Zealand House of Parliament, Penny Bright, Media Spokesperson for Water Pressure Group, a judicially recognized Public Watchdog for Metrowater, water and Auckland regional governance matters, raises a series of questions and concerns about the safety of the vaccine. She demands to know whether Baxter products are currently being used in New Zealand for the "swine flu", "bird flu" or any other type of flu.

Bright highlights the fact that Baxter is currently facing criminal charges for producing contaminated "bird flu" vaccine that date back to February of this year when it became known that the company had sent out 72 kilos of live "bird flu" virus supplied by the World Health Organization in the winter of 2009 to 16 laboratories in four countries. These charges were filed by journalist Jane Burgermeister of Austria and were exclusively reported by Natural News http://www.naturalnews.com/026503_p...

Burmeister's allegations claim that clear evidence exists that the pharmaceutical company and international government agencies actively conspired in producing, developing, manufacturing and distributing biological agents classified as the most deadly bioweapons on earth in order to trigger a pandemic and cause mass death.

Last December, the Austrian branch of Baxter sent a batch of ordinary human H3N2 flu, altered so it could not replicate, to Avir Green Hills Biotechnology, also in Austria. In February, a lab in the Czech Republic working for Avir alerted Baxter that, unexpectedly, ferrets inoculated with a sample from the shipment had died. It was discovered that the sample contained live H5N1, which was to be used by Baxter to make vaccine. Baxter claims the two mixed by error, and called the incident a simple "accident".

According to an article appearing in The Times of India on March 6, Markus Reinhard of Baxter said no one was infected because the H3N2 was handled at a high level of containment. But world renowned virologist Ab Osterhause of Erasmus University in the Netherlands has stated emphatically that great lengths must be taken to make sure this kind of thing does not happen again. In May, Osterhaus told participants at Europe's largest conference on infectious diseases that the outbreak of influenza A H1N1 is without question the most important event of the past 40 years in human influenza. He stressed that the current H1N1 threat is serious.

Accidental release of the mixture of live H5N1 and H3N2 virus subtypes could have resulted in extremely dire consequences. Although H5N1 does not easily infect people, H3N2 does. Anyone exposed to a mixture of the two strains and simultaneously infected with both could serve as a human incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to other people and their communities. This is the outcome feared by many scientists in the U.S. for the fall flu season, and the stated reason for the push to get everyone vaccinated, even if by force.

In her open letter, Bright asks members of the New Zealand Parliament to consider whether they would consent to being injected with a "swine flu" vaccine produced by Baxter while it is under investigation for charges it produced contaminated "bird flu" vaccine. She asks Parliament members if they would consent to having their own children and grandchildren vaccinated with Baxter's product which is slated to appear on the market this month [last July – Ed].

She also asks them to consider a situation in which their consent to vaccination or lack thereof was overridden under emergency legislation arising from the New Zealand Epidemic Preparedness Act 2006, and to consider their response to mandatory or forced vaccination.

Under the Epidemic Preparedness Act 2006, broad powers are granted to the Medical Officer of Health in response to the threat or emergence of a new epidemic. These powers include the ability to require a person to undergo a medical examination (section 70(1)(e)); require persons, places, buildings, ships, vehicles, aircraft, animals, or things to be isolated, quarantined, or disinfected (section 70(1)(f)); require people to remain in quarantine until they have been medically examined and found to be free from infectious disease, and until they have undergone any prescribed preventive treatment (section 70(1)(h); close any premise (section 70(1)(la) or all premises within a certain area (section 70(1)(m)(i)-(ii); forbid people to congregate in outdoor places of amusement or recreations, whether public or private (section 70(1)(m)(iii)-(iv); and take possession of personal property including land, buildings, vehicles, medicines, and other things, and for purposes including the accommodation or treatment of patients, disposal of bodies, transportation of patients, medical personnel, medicine etcetera (section 71(1)).

These powers are automatically engaged when an epidemic notice is issued, much like the setup in the U.S. which allows for similar powers to automatically come into effect with the declaration of Pandemic Level 6. A Pandemic Level 6 alert was declared on June, 11th.

The powers of the Medical Officer of Health include ordering the removal of any person to a hospital for isolation if he or she has reason to believe or suspect that the person, whether suffering from an infectious disease or not, is likely to cause the spread of any infectious disease (section 79).

The Sun is not a ‘nuclear furnace’ fed by internal fusion reactions, but a huge ‘hollow’ ball, a globe of electrified plasma fed by universal resonant currents

A little known fact: Popular ideas about the Sun have not fared well under the tests of a scientific theory. The formulators of the standard Sun model worked with gravity, gas laws, and nuclear fusion. But closer observation of the Sun has shown that electrical and magnetic properties dominate solar behavior.

For centuries, the nature of the Sun’s radiance remained a mystery to astronomers. The Sun is the only object in the solar system that produces its own visible light. All others reflect the light of the Sun. What unique trait of the Sun enables it to shine upon the other objects in the solar system?

Today, astronomers assure us that the most fundamental question is answered. The Sun is a thermonuclear furnace. The ball of gas is so large that astronomers envision pressures and densities within its core sufficient to generate temperatures of about 16 million K—producing a continuous “controlled” nuclear reaction.

Most astronomers and astrophysicists investigating the Sun are so convinced of the fusion model that only the rarest among them will countenance challenges to the underlying idea. Standard textbooks and institutional research, complemented by a chorus of scientific and popular media, “ratify” the fusion model of the Sun year after year by ignoring evidence to the contrary.

A growing group of independent researchers, however, insists that the popular idea is incorrect. These researchers say that the Sun is electric. It is a glow discharge fed by galactic currents. And they emphasize that the fusion model anticipated none of the milestone discoveries about the Sun, while the electric model predicts and explains the very observations that posed the greatest quandaries for solar investigation.

More than 60 years ago, Dr. Charles E. R. Bruce, of the Electrical Research Association in England, offered a new perspective on the Sun. An electrical researcher, astronomer, and expert on the effects of lightning, Bruce proposed in 1944 that the Sun’s "photosphere has the appearance, the temperature and the spectrum of an electric arc; it has arc characteristics because it is an electric arc, or a large number of arcs in parallel." This discharge characteristic, he claimed, "accounts for the observed granulation of the solar surface." Bruce’s model, however, was based on a conventional understanding of atmospheric lightning, allowing him to envision the “electric” Sun without reference to external electric fields.

Years later, a brilliant engineer, Ralph Juergens, inspired by Bruce’s work, added a revolutionary possibility. In a series of articles beginning in 1972, Juergens suggested that the Sun is not an electrically isolated body in space, but the most positively charged object in the solar system, the center of a radial electric field. This field, he said, lies within a larger galactic field. With this hypothesis, Juergens became the first to make the theoretical leap to an external power source of the Sun.

Juergens proposed that the Sun is the focus of a "coronal glow discharge" fed by galactic currents. To avoid misunderstanding of this concept, it is essential that we distinguish the complex, electrodynamic glow discharge model of the Sun from a simple electrostatic model that can be easily dismissed. Throughout most of the volume of a glow discharge the plasma is nearly neutral, with almost equal numbers of protons and electrons. In this view, the charge differential at the Earth’s distance from the Sun is smaller than our present ability to measure—perhaps one or two electrons per cubic meter. But the charge density is far higher closer to the Sun, and at the solar corona and surface the electric field is of sufficient strength to generate all of the energetic phenomena we observe.

Today, the electrical theorists Wallace Thornhill and Donald Scott urge a critical comparison of the fusion model and the electrical model. Given what we now know about the Sun, which model meets the tests of unity, coherence, simplicity, and predictability? Why did so many discoveries surprise investigators and even contradict the expectations of the fusion model? Is there any fundamental feature of the Sun that contradicts the glow discharge hypothesis?

Our closer looks at the Sun have revealed the pervasive influence of magnetic fields, which are the effect of electric currents. Sunspots, prominences, coronal mass ejections, and a host of other features require ever more complicated guesswork on behalf of the fusion model. But this is the way an anode in a coronal glow discharge behaves!

In the electrical model, the Sun is the “anode” or positively charged body in the electrical exchange, while the "cathode" or negatively charged contributor is not a discrete object, but the invisible “virtual cathode” at the limit of the Sun’s coronal discharge. (Coronal discharges can sometimes be seen as a glow surrounding high-voltage transmission wires, where the wire discharges into the surrounding air). This virtual cathode lies far beyond the planets. In the lexicon of astronomy, this is the “heliopause.” In electrical terms, it is the cellular sheath or “double layer” separating the plasma cell that surrounds the Sun ("heliosphere”) from the enveloping galactic plasma.

In an electric universe, such cellular forms are expected between regions of dissimilar plasma properties. According to the glow discharge model of the Sun, almost the entire voltage difference between the Sun and its galactic environment occurs across the thin boundary sheath of the heliopause. Inside the heliopause there is a weak but constant radial electrical field centered on the Sun. A weak electric field, immeasurable locally with today's instruments but cumulative across the vast volume of space within the heliosphere, is sufficient to power the solar discharge.

The visible component of a coronal glow discharge occurs above the anode, often in layers. The Sun’s red chromosphere is part of this discharge. (Unconsciously, it seems, the correct electrical engineering term was applied to the Sun’s corona.) Correspondingly, the highest particle energies are not at the photosphere but above it. The electrical theorists see the Sun as a perfect example of this characteristic of glow discharges—a radical contrast to the expected dissipation of energy from the core outward in the fusion model of the Sun.

At about 500 kilometers (310 miles) above the photosphere or visible surface, we find the coldest measurable temperature, about 4400 degrees K. Moving upward, the temperature then rises steadily to about 20,000 degrees K at the top of the chromosphere, some 2200 kilometers (1200 miles) above the Sun's surface. Here it abruptly jumps hundreds of thousands of degrees, then continues slowly rising, eventually reaching 2 million degrees in the corona. Even at a distance of one or two solar diameters, ionized oxygen atoms reach 200 million degrees!

In other words the “reverse temperature gradient,” while meeting the tests of the glow discharge model, contradicts every original expectation of the fusion model.

But this is only the first of many enigmas and contradictions facing the fusion hypothesis. As astronomer Fred Hoyle pointed out years ago, with the strong gravity and the mere 5,800-degree temperature at the surface, the Sun’s atmosphere should be only a few thousand kilometers thick, according to the “gas laws” astrophysicists typically apply to such bodies. Instead, the atmosphere balloons out to 100,000 kilometers, where it heats up to a million degrees or more. From there, particles accelerate out among the planets in defiance of gravity. Thus the planets, Earth included, could be said to orbit inside the Sun's diffuse atmosphere.

The discovery that blasts of particles escape the Sun at an estimated 400- to 700-kilometers per second came as an uncomfortable surprise for advocates of the nuclear powered model. Certainly, the “pressure” of sunlight cannot explain the acceleration of the solar “wind”. In an electrically neutral, gravity-driven universe, particles were not hot enough to escape such massive bodies, which (in the theory) are attractors only. And yet, the particles of the solar wind continue to accelerate past Venus, Earth, and Mars. Since these particles are not miniature “rocket ships,” this acceleration is the last thing one should expect!

According to the electric theorists, a weak electric field, focused on the Sun, better explains the acceleration of the charged particles of the solar wind. Electric fields accelerate charged particles. And just as magnetic fields are undeniable witnesses to the presence of electric currents, particle acceleration is a good measure of the strength of an electric field.

A common mistake made by critics of the electric model is to assume that the radial electric field of the Sun should be not only measurable but also strong enough to accelerate electrons toward the Sun at “relativistic” speeds (up to 300,000 kilometers per second). By this argument, we should find electrons not only zipping past our instruments but also creating dramatic displays in Earth’s night sky.

But as noted above, in the plasma glow-discharge model the interplanetary electric field will be extremely weak. No instrument placed in space could measure the radial voltage differential across a few tens of meters, any more than it could measure the solar wind acceleration over a few tens of meters. But we can observe the solar wind acceleration over tens of millions of kilometers, confirming that the electric field of the Sun, though imperceptible in terms of volts per meter, is sufficient to sustain a powerful drift current across interplanetary space. Given the massive volume of this space, the implied current is quite sufficient to power the Sun.

Russia to Suppress “Falsifications” about USSR

According to an article in The Moscow Times on May 20, President Dmitry Medvedev has ordered the creation of a new commission tasked with countering attempts to rewrite history to the detriment of Russia’s interests.

The article states the Commission, officially titled the “Commission on Analyzing and Suppressing Falsifications of History Detrimental to Russia,” is being created in response to efforts in Ukraine and the Baltic States to bring attention to atrocities that were committed by the Soviet Union before and during World War II against the people of the region.

Russia has never come to terms with the atrocities committed by the Soviet Union. Russia’s leaders believe that any denunciation or attention to the Holodomor famine, the mass deportations, the gulags, and the terror imposed on the people of Eastern Europe is an attack against present day Russia.

The 28-member commission is charged with collecting and analyzing information about attempts to diminish Russia’s prestige by falsifying history, according to the decree signed by Medvedev.

The creation of the new commission comes on the heels of a bill submitted to the Duma that would criminalize attempts to rehabilitate Nazism in former Soviet republics.

Even more scary is that under the bill, which is likely to sail easily through both houses of the parliament, Russian and foreign citizens could be sent to prison for up to three years for accusing the Red Army of atrocities or illegal occupation during World War II, an allegation commonly lodged in the Baltic countries.

If such accusations are made by an official or disseminated in the media, the crime would be punishable by up to five years in prison, according to the legislation.

The bill, spearheaded by Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu, also calls for severing ties with countries that officially revise the history of World War II and barring the leaders of such countries from entering Russia.

Our first Stirling Engine!

Here it is. £50 from ebay. Not got it to work yet as it’s been a bit too cloudy! The plan is to power the Sterling engine using a solar focusing Fresnel lens, and to turn a small motor with it to generate some electricity, enough to charge a mobile phone or light a few LEDs perhaps.

Greenman Festival

We setup a free mobile phone charging station in Einstein’s Garden at the Greenman Festival. People really seemed to enjoy the fact that it was free! However most of the power they were generating was actually charging a deep cycle battery! This battery was then used to power Minima’s accompaniment of a nature documentary as well as a number of presentation and short films throughout the day!

The Empire and Inequality Report

REDUCED EXPECTATIONS

One year after President Barack Obama's historic election in the name of "change" and "hope," Gallup and USA Today report that the U.S. citizenry's initially high expectations of the Obama presidency have fallen along with the president's popularity.

In November of 2008, 67 percent of the American population thought that the Obama administrations would be able to reduce unemployment. By mid-October of 2009, just barely more than half (51 percent) believed that.

In the month of the president's election, 64 percent of Americans told Gallup and USA Today that the next White House would be able "to improve the health care system." Fifty-eight (58) percent thought President Obama would be able to "bring U.S. troops home from Afghanistan in way that's not harmful to the U.S."

Eleven and a half months later, just 46 percent believed that Obama could improve health care. The same exact percentage (46) thought the same way about Obama and Afghanistan (Susan Page, "Obama's Election One Year Later," USA Today, October 28, 2009, pp. 1A, 5A).

At one level, we might consider these reduced expectations something of a victory for the American corporate and imperial power elite. Realistically or not, much of the majority U.S. working class populace wanted certain things from the Obama presidency. The things hoped for included increased employment opportunities and wages, a roll back of war and militarism, universal and adequate health care, rebuilt infrastructure, serious efforts to fix the environmental crisis, reduced inequality, and generally improved life circumstances for ordinary people.

The corporate and imperial ruling class that backed Obama's campaign and staffed many of his key cabinet and other policymaking positions had different priorities for America. They wanted Obama to foster an illusion of democratic change that worked to prevent popular rebellion. They wanted the new administration to save and restore legitimacy to their damaged profits system and empire. They desired a public relations makeover along improved governance for American Empire and Inequality in the wake of the grossly incompetent, unpopular, and messianic-militarist Bush-Cheney administration and the related epic financial meltdown of September-October 2008. They wanted the Obama's "progressive" triumph to cloak a deeper underlying triumph of conservatism. They wanted new and deceptive clothes for the persistence of the old regime. They wanted a re-branding without a restructuring - without any serious questioning of underlying institutions, and ideologies.

WHAT THE ESTABLISHMENT WANTED AND EXPECTS

"Towards Making the Burdens Yet to Come More Bearable"

Two good places to get a sense of what the American establishment has expected from Obama are the editorial pages of The New York Times and the Washington Post The real world ideological orientation of these two leading citadels of corporate-imperial ideology have nothing to do with the "leftist" project to which both papers are routinely and absurdly connected by fanatical right-wing propagandists like Bernard Goldberg, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh. Strongly committed to the preservation of existing power relations, that orientation is suggested in a statement from the Times' editorial board three weeks before Obama's Inauguration. In a December 22, 2008 editorial entitled "The Printing Press Cure," the Times explained that Obama had to walk a fine line in relation to the damaged domestic business order he was inheriting from George W. Bush. The next president needed, the Times felt, to embrace a level of government intervention that was adequate to save the profits system while distancing himself from promises that might encourage the citizenry to resist. "As president," the Times lectured, "Mr. Obama will have to convey optimism without over-promising. He will have to inspire confidence, even in the absence of a dramatic turnaround - which is simply not on the cards." The editorial ended on an interesting note: "While Mr. Obama must continue to level with the American people - the economy is unlikely to turn up until 2010 at the earliest, and even then it will probably rebound slowly - his near term moves will go a long way towards making the burdens yet to come more bearable."

Translation: it was Obama's job - on the model of Franklin Delano Roosevelt during the 1930s - to prevent the citizenry's anger and struggles (under a dramatically failing capitalism) from coalescing into a popular rebellion. The Times' editors felt that Obama's proper role would be to stop potential "populist rage" and the deepening economic crisis (imposed by capital) from sparking a powerful new working class movement. To repeat the words of the Times' editorial, it was all about "making the burdens yet to come more bearable."

"A Military Large Enough and Mobile Enough" to Rule "A Dangerous World"

Interestingly, however, the Times had a different take on Obama's duties to Empire. The editors' emphasis on Obama's need to "realistically" downsize popular hopes in regard to domestic policy stood in curious contrast to the grandiose expectations the paper's opinion authorities held for Obama's obligation to repair and expand the power of America's military. In a November 16, 2008 editorial entitled "A Military for a Dangerous World," the Times' editors explained that:

"As president, Barack Obama will face the most daunting and complicated national security challenges in more than a generation — and he will inherit a military that is critically ill-equipped for the task."

"Troops and equipment are so overtaxed by President Bush's disastrous Iraq war that the Pentagon does not have enough of either for the fight in Afghanistan, the war on terror's front line, let alone to confront the next threats."

"This is intolerable...To protect the nation, the Obama administration will have to rebuild and significantly reshape the military. We do not minimize the difficulty of this task. Even if money were limitless, planning is extraordinarily difficult in a world with no single enemy and many dangers..."

The Times editors recommended:

* Provision of "sufficient troops, ships and planes to reassure allies in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe."

* Efforts to "ensure [the Pentagon's] ability - so-called lift capacity - to move enormous quantities of men and material quickly around the world and to supply then when necessary by sea."

* "A military that is large enough and mobile enough to deter enemies."

* "A significantly larger ground force."

* Provision of "new skills" to fight not just "traditional wars against hostile regimes" but also "guerilla insurgencies wielding terror tactics or possibly weapons of mass destruction."

* "Hiring more linguists, training more special forces, and building expertise in civilian affairs and cultural awareness" so to more effectively conduct "counter-insurgency" wars and occupations that "protect the civilian population and legitimize the indigenous government" abroad.

* The training of military forces to be "prepared to sustain long-term operations [occupations, P.S.]."

Taken together, these two post-election Times editorials were a striking example of what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the middle and late 1960s called the "perverted national priorities" of the American empire. The nation's leading newspaper called for cautious, conservative, and hope-chilling modesty when it came to addressing domestic pain and inequality. At the same time, it advocated the expansion of Superpower's already gargantuan capacity to deliver death and destruction across the planet, described (in the standard paranoid parlance of the imperial militarist) as "dangerous."

"Universal Health Care...is Not ‘Fundamental to the Defense of Our People'"

Now let's look at the Washington Post ten months later. Another example of the same seeming inconsistency and of the same continuously conservative, corporate and imperial world view has recently been given by the editors of that other leading establishment newspaper. In an unusual move on Saturday, October 24th, the Post's editorial page condescended to address a critical response from a reader who "challenged [them] to explain what he sees as a contradiction in our editorial positions." The reader had raised an interesting question. He had wondered how the Post could justify (A) demanding that Obama's health care plan not be paid for with borrowed money while at the same time (B) strongly supporting U.S. escalation in Afghanistan without specifying how to pay for it. "Why is it okay to finance wars with debt, asks our reader, but not to pay for health care that way?"

The Post's editors gave three answers. Their first claim was misleading and false. It held that Obama was saving money by cutting defense spending and withdrawing from Iraq. But Obama is doing none of these things. Iraq remains occupied and Obama has actually increasing the Pentagon budget. By "cutting defense," The Post really meant that Obama is merely decreasing the rate at which defense spending increases ("from 2008 to 2019, defense spending would increase only 17 percent"). And of course, the president is escalating in Afghanistan and Pakistan, adding thereby the ballooning federal deficit.

The Post's second claim was also deceptive. It argued that "wars, unlike entitlement programs, eventually come to an end." But do they, really? As the noted U.S. military historian and former U.S. Army Colonel Andrew Bacevich told PBS' "Frontline" last September, dominant U.S. military doctrine does not support that argument. "Post-Vietnam," Bacevich noted, "the officer corps was committed to the proposition that wars should be infrequent, that they should be fought only for the most vital interests, and that they should be fought in a way that would produce a quick and decisive outcome. What we have today in my judgment is just the inverse of that. War has become a permanent condition." ("Interview: Col. Andrew Bacevich [Ret.], Frontline/PBS, September 21, 2009, read at www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/obamaswar/interviews/bacevich.html). Full truth told, massive and vastly expensive federal preparation for war became an undeviating aspect of U.S. government during and after World War II.

The Post's third and deeper answer was darkly revealing and emblematic of the deeply distorted priorities and perverted values of the nation's political class. It held that escalating in Afghanistan was an unqualified national obligation while providing Americans universal health coverage was basically an extra that could be put on hold. According to the Post's editors:

"All this [the troubled reader's sense of contradiction between open-ended war funding and limited health-care funding, P.S.] assumes that defense and health care should be treated equally in the national budget. We would argue that they should not be . . . Universal health care, however desirable, is not ‘fundamental to the defense of our people.' Nor is it a ‘necessity' that it be adopted this year: Mr. Obama chose to propose a massive new entitlement at a time of historic budget deficits. In contrast, Gen. McChrystal believes that if reinforcements are not sent to Afghanistan in the next year, the war may be lost, with catastrophic consequences for U.S. interests in South Asia. U.S. soldiers would continue to die, without the prospect of defeating the Taliban. And, as Mr. Obama put it, ‘if left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which al-Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans.'"

This was a remarkable proclamation. Besides its abject repetition of the White House's highly problematic "safe haven" argument in defense of the brazenly illegal and unjust occupation of Afghanistan, it was remarkably indifferent to the shocking domestic death toll imposed by the United States' corporate-ruled health insurance regime. That regime kill[s] more Americans each month than al Qaeda did on September 11, 2001. A study released by the Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance in September of 2009 demonstrated that "nearly 45,000 annual deaths are associated with lack of health insurance" in America. According to one of the study's authors, "Deaths associated with lack of health insurance now exceed those caused by many common killers such as kidney disease. An increase in the number of uninsured and an eroding medical safety net for the disadvantaged likely explain the substantial increase in the number of deaths, as the uninsured are more likely to go without needed care." No doubt the Post editors who explained why the indefinite occupation of Afghanistan was a higher national priority than universal health care for Americans are all enrolled in gold-plated health insurance plans. It is all too easy for them to dismiss tens of thousands of annual deaths in the imperial "homeland" as "not fundamental" - as something that does not need to be overcome as quickly as possible.

"No matter your views on Obama's health care reform plan," the incisive left-liberal writer Glen Greenwald notes, "does it really take any effort to see how warped [their] dismissive mentality is?" As Greenwald adds, "it becomes ...much worse when one considers" that the Obama administration's "venerated ‘counter-insurgency' mission in Afghanistan" entails an open-ended commitment to "securing the population" through years and perhaps decades of military, social, and political intervention guided by "an enormously ambitious project of nation-building." The cost of that project would certainly run well into the trillions.

Greenwald aptly summarizes and criticizes the "warped" priorities of The Post's editors:

"So according to The Washington Post, dropping bombs on, controlling and occupying Afghanistan -- all while simultaneously ensuring ‘effective governance, economic development, education, the elimination of corruption, the protection of women's rights' to Afghan citizens in Afghanistan -- is an absolutely vital necessity that must be done no matter the cost. But providing basic services (such as health care) to American citizens, in the U.S., is a secondary priority at best, something totally unnecessary that should wait for a few years or a couple decades until we can afford it and until our various wars are finished, if that ever happens. ‘U.S. interests in South Asia' are paramount; U.S. interests in the welfare of those in American cities, suburbs and rural areas are an afterthought."

"As demented as that sounds, isn't that exactly the priority scheme we've adopted as a country? We're a nation that couldn't even manage to get clean drinking water to our own citizens who were dying in the middle of New Orleans. We have tens of thousands of people dying every year because they lack basic health care coverage. The rich-poor gap [inside the U.S.] continues to expand to third-world levels. And The Post claims that war and ‘nation-building' in Afghanistan are crucial while health care for Americans is not..."

"Beltway elites have health insurance and thus the costs and suffering for those who don't are abstract, distant and irrelevant. Identically, with very rare exceptions, they and their families don't fight the wars they cheer on - and don't even pay for them - and thus get to enjoy all the pulsating benefits without any costs whatsoever."

The Post's October 24th editorial rightly reminds Greenwald of a notable passage in Adam Smith's much-misunderstood Wealth of Nations (1776): "In great empires the people who live in the capital, and in the provinces remote from the scene of action, feel, many of them, scarce any inconveniency from the war; but enjoy, at their ease, the amusement of reading in the newspapers the exploits of their own fleets and armies..." It's as if Smith had seen into the posh corridors of the Post 233 years later. "Lounging around in the editorial offices in the capital of a rapidly decaying empire, urging that more Americans be sent into endless war paid for with endless debt, while yawning and lazily waving away with boredom the hordes outside dying for lack of health care coverage, is one of the most repugnant images one can imagine. It's exactly what Adam Smith denounced. And it's exactly what our political and media elite are," Greenwald writes (Glen Greenwald, "‘America's Priorities,' By the Beltway Elite," Salon, October 24, 2008 www.salon.com/news/opinion/glenn_greenwald/?page=2).

It is repugnant indeed - no less when the argument is deployed in service to an urbane, eloquent black president from Chicago than when it supports the adventurism of a clumsy and boorish white president from Texas.

OBAMA IN THE REAL WORLD OF POWER

There should be little doubt as to who has prevailed under the first nine months of the Obama White House. The "perverted national priorities" of the Beltway and Wall Street elite have trumped the progressive hopes and needs of "democracy's" purported masters the citizenry. President Obama has lectured Wall Street chieftains on the immorality of their bonuses and visited hard recession-hit towns like Elkhart, Indiana and Pomona, California to show solidarity with downtrodden working people. He has occasionally pounded his chest at excessive executive compensation and the evil behavior of insurance corporations. And then he has given yet more of the public treasury and commons away to the Privileged Few, justifying the handouts and protection proffered to the elite as a noble expression of "sensible," "realistic," and "pragmatic" commitment to "rising above ideological divisions" to "get things done" for the American people.

"Tinkering Around the [Financial] Edges" While "the Wise Guys of Wall Street Lick Their Fat-Cat Chops"

Obama and the Democrats' "financial reform" efforts "tinker around the edges" in ways that do little to prevent another financial meltdown on the model of September-October 2008. If anything, they increase the likelihood of another disaster, for they fail to address what Times reporter Gretchen Morgenson (no leftist) calls "the most significant issue of all: how to make sure that companies do not grow to the point where they become too big or interconnected to be allowed to fail." This dark reality goes largely unacknowledged in "mainstream" media reports that focus heavily on Obama's superficially progressive proposal to briefly temper politically volatile executive pay levels at seven companies that together received hundreds of billions in federal taxpayer assistance over the last year (G. Morgenson, "Wall Street Follies: The Next Act," New York Times, October 25, 2009).

Liberal Times columnist Bob Herbert writes of his shock at "another orgy (with taxpayers as the enablers) of [Wall Street] bonuses" inflicted while a rising sea of Americans struggled to keep jobs and homes and their health coverage. "Even as tens of millions of working Americans are struggling to hang onto their jobs and keep a roof over their families' heads," Herbert noted, "the wise guys of Wall Street are licking their fat-cat chops over yet another round of obscene multibillion-dollar bonuses — this time thanks to the bailout billions that were sent their way by Uncle Sam, with very little in the way of strings attached...Goldman Sachs is thriving while the combined rates of unemployment and underemployment are creeping toward a mind-boggling 20 percent..." Herbert is struck by a sense of "deja voodoo" as he recalls a column he wrote on the same topic - Wall Street big shots "harvesting a record crop of bonuses" and "ordering up record shipments of Champagne and caviar" while working families struggled to survive - three days before Christmas in 2007. (Bob Herbert, "Safety Nets For the Rich," New York Times, October 20, 2009).

Sick Joke

Meanwhile, "health reform" has become a sick, plutocratic joke under Obama. As tens of thousands of Americans die each year in connection with the lack of insurance coverage, Obama's overly complex and corporate-captive "reform" efforts are a great gift to the Democratic Party's ' "frenemies" atop the big insurance and drug corporations and those firms' Wall Street investors.

Five weeks go, 65 percent of more than 1000 Americans randomly surveyed by the CBS and The New York Times responded affirmatively to the following question: "Would you favor the government offering everyone a government-administered health insurance plan - something like the Medicare coverage that people 65 and over get - that would compete with private health insurance plans?" (CBS-New York Times, September 23, 2009). In the same month that Obama was inaugurated, 59 percent told same pollsters that they supported a Canadian-style single-payer health insurance system.

But so what? The most that a Democratic president (Obama) and a majority Democratic U.S. Senate seem ready to advance as I finish this essay (on the first anniversary of Obama's election) is a strictly limited, deeply conservative version, and hopelessly weakened and ghettoized, high-cost version of "the public option" - one that would be available only to those without access to private insurance and only in certain states. President Obama, who once (as a state senator in 2003) argued passionately for an "everybody in, nobody out" single-payer system, is reported to prefer a "public option" with a "trigger," meaning a small and weak program for the otherwise uninsured that would only be activated at some time in the future, if it was determined that the private insurers had failed to meet certain benchmarks. And Obama's plan will hand the insurance companies millions of new customers, who will now be required to purchase health insurance or face government fines.

The president's former willingness to acknowledge the superiority of single-payer dates from the period right before he knew he had a shot at national office and therefore fully subordinated himself to America's "unelected dictatorship of money," which "vets the nominees of the Republican and Democratic parties, reducing the options available to U.S. citizens to two candidates, neither of whom can change the foreign or domestic priorities of the imperial U.S. regime." The Pentagon Reports: "Climate Change Seen as Threat to U.S. Security"

Also in a sickening corporatist vein, Obama's auto restructuring plan gave the big U.S. carmakers a green light to further dismantle the lives of American working people by building more vehicles and parts in lower-wage countries. American unions' hopes for an overdue and urgently required labor law reform have been kicked to the curb with no meaningful resistance from the "pro-labor" White House, which has failed to push for an economic stimulus remotely close to what would be required to stem a rising unemployment rate that (by the way) has recently helped the Pentagon meet all of its recruiting goals for the first time in many years.

The Obama administration has won accolades from environmentalists for acknowledging the legitimacy of global warming science. But again, the sad question arises: "so what?" The new White House has rewarded the top energy firms by leading a retreat from the imposition of serious carbon emission controls on the rich nations just months after leading climate scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of showed that "without rapid and massive action, the problem [of global warming] will be about twice as severe as previously estimated six years ago - and could be even worse [since] the model does not fully incorporate other positive feedbacks than can occur, for example, if increased temperatures caused large-scale melting of permafrost in arctic regions and subsequent release of large quantities of methane." A prominent earth scientist heading the report said that, "There's no way the world can or should take these risks" and argued that "the least-cost option to lower the risk it to start now and steadily transform the global energy system over the coming decades to low or zero greenhouse gas-emitting technologies." ("Climate Change Odds Much Worse Than Thought: New Analysis Shows Warming Could be Double Previous Estimates," MIT News, May 19, 2009, read at http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2009/roulette-0519.html#).There has been no indication of any serious movement in that direction by Obama, who branded himself a candidate to be "a green President" and spoke eloquently on the problem of global warming to enthusiastic liberal and progressive audiences in 2007 and 2008.

In a macabre and surreal front-page story titled "Climate Change Seen as Threat to U.S. Security" last August, the Times reported on the conclusions of a recent study from Obama's Pentagon: "The changing global climate will pose profound changes to the United States in coming decades, raising the prospect of military intervention to deal with the effects of violent storms, drought, mass migration and pandemics" (John Broder, New York Times, August 9, 2009, A1). Notwithstanding the interesting facts that American petro-capitalism (subsidized, protected, and advanced by a largely oil-focused and oil-fueled U.S. global hyper-militarism) is the leading force driving climate change in the first place (!) and that the leading early victims are concentrated in poor nations that contribute only minimally to global warming, the Pentagon is making sure to "war game" the Earth's rising temperature, treating that development as an external threat to freedom in "the homeland." (At least the Pentagon has yet to claim that Islamic extremists are the real force behind global climate change)

There was no comment reported on this remarkable story and the Pentagons fascinating new research from Obama's National Security Advisor, the retired Marine Gen. James Jones. Jones is the former supreme allied commander of NATO. Before his selection as Obama's top military brain, was president and chief executive of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for 21st Century Energy, which called for the immediate expansion of domestic oil and gas production and issued reports that criticizing application to the Clean Air Act to fight global warming. "Recently retired from the military," Amy Goodman noted last December, "Jones has parlayed his 40-year military career into several corporate directorships. Among them is Cross Match Technologies, which makes biometric identification equipment. More germane to Jones' forthcoming role in Obama's inner circle, though, might be Jones' seat as a director of Boeing, a weapons manufacturer, and as a director of Chevron, an oil giant" (A. Goodman, "Chevron in the White House," Truthdig, Dec. 2, 2008, read at www.truthdig.com/report/item/20081202_chevron_in_the_white_house).

Orwell would be impressed. So would Kafka, Vonnegut, and perhaps Joseph Heller, author of Catch-22.

"No Peace Dividend"

Speaking of the Pentagon, Obama's record-setting "defense" budget and related colonial war expansion in South Asia have naturally rewarded the giant military industrial complex, including such key state-subsidized firms as Boeing, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin. Unlike the administration's "health reform," Washington's war spending is unburdened with the requirement that it (as Obama promised in his health care speech to a joint session of Congress in September) "not add a dime to the federal deficit."

"As we understand it, Obama has been advised and agrees that there is no peace dividend...In addition, we believe, based on discussions with industry sources, that Obama has agreed not to cut the defense budget at least until the first 18 months of his term as the national security situation becomes better understood."

These last two sentences come from a report issued by the leading Wall Street investment firm and Bush-Obama bailout recipient Morgan Stanley one day after Obama's presidential election victory. "The Democrats," Morgan Stanley's researchers noted, "are sensitive about appearing weak on defense, and we don't expect strong cuts."

"Defense" is an interesting label for a giant military budget that pays for two mass-murderous occupations (in Iraq and Afghanistan) and 770 military bases located in more than 130 countries. The United States accounts for nearly half (48 percent) the military spending on the planet. Coming in at $1 trillion (by the measure of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget's National Income and Product Accounts) in 2007, American "defense" (empire) spending outweighs domestic U.S federal expenditure on education by more than 8 to 1; income security by more than 4.5 to 1; nutrition by more than 11 to 1; housing by 14 to 1; and job training by 32 to 1. The military accounts for more than half of all discretionary federal spending.

The "peace dividend" refers to the notion of reversing such "perverted national priorities" by taking money spent on war and the preparation for war and using it to address human problems like poverty, ecological crisis, crumbling infrastructure, joblessness, and inadequate education, health, housing, and schooling. This happens to have long been a very popular idea with the U.S. citizenry. A 2004 poll by the Chicago Council of Foreign Relations found, for example, that just 29 percent of Americans supported the expansion of government spending on "defense." By contrast, 79 percent supported increased spending on health care, 69 percent supported increased spending on education, and 69 percent backed increased spending on Social Security.

TOWARDS A NEW DEFINITION OF POLITICAL OBLIGATION BEYOND THE MASTERS' "ELECTION MADNESS"

But, again, so what? Such mere public opinion does not go very far under the aforementioned "unelected dictatorship." As the venerable left-liberal political scientist Sheldon Wolin predicted last year in his chilling book Democracy Incorporated: Managed Democracy and the Specter of Inverted Totalitarianism (Princeton 2008), "Should Democrats somehow be elected, corporate sponsors [will] make it politically impossible for the new officeholders to alter significantly the direction of society." In the United States' corporate-managed political culture, Wolin elaborated, "the parties set out to mobilize the citizen-as-voter, to define political obligation as fulfilled by the casting of a vote. Afterwards, post-election politics of lobbying, repaying donors, and promoting corporate interests - the real players - takes over The effect is to demobilize the citizenry, to teach them not to be involved or to ponder matters that are either settled or beyond their efficacy....The timidity of a Democratic Party mesmerized by centrist precepts points to the crucial fact that, for the poor, minorities, the working-class, anticorporatists, pro-environmentalists, and anti-imperialists, there is no opposition party working actively on their behalf."

Citizens must and can mobilize themselves as something more than voters in corporate-coordinated, candidate-centered electoral burlesques every four years. There have been some examples of a deeper, more radical popular engagement since the election, including two in Obama's "home city" Chicago: the remarkable workers' factory occupation at the Republic Door and Window plant in December of 2008 and the protest of thousands against financial parasites and their taxpayer bailouts in Chicago just two weeks ago. We can and must form and expand grassroots worker and citizen power beneath and beyond the pathetically narrow, elite-imposed definition of political obligation that reigns in the U.S. That definition offers little more than the chance to occasionally choose from a painfully thin, ideologically tapered menu of corporate-imperial candidates selected in advance by the business class.

As Howard Zinn reminded us in the spring of 2008, reflecting on the "election madness" he saw "engulfing the entire society, including the left" with special intensity in the springtime of Obama's election year:

"The election frenzy seizes the country every four years because we have all been brought up to believe that voting is crucial in determining our destiny, that the most important act a citizen can engage in is to go to the polls and choose one of the two mediocrities who have already been chosen for us."

"...Would I support one candidate against another? Yes, for two minutes-the amount of time it takes to pull the lever down in the voting booth."

"But before and after those two minutes, our time, our energy, should be spent in educating, agitating, organizing our fellow citizens in the workplace, in the neighborhood, in the schools. Our objective should be to build, painstakingly, patiently but energetically, a movement that, when it reaches a certain critical mass, would shake whoever is in the White House, in Congress, into changing national policy on matters of war and social justice."

"Let's remember that even when there is a ‘better' candidate (yes, better Roosevelt than Hoover, better anyone than George Bush), that difference will not mean anything unless the power of the people asserts itself in ways that the occupant of the White House will find it dangerous to ignore..... (Howard Zinn, "Election Madness," The Progressive, March 2008).

One can bemoan and feel (like the liberal-left filmmaker Michael Moore) "betrayed" by Obama's predictable service to the corporate and military power elite and by his failure to act in accord with the more progressive-sounding aspects of his stirring campaign rhetoric. But candidate Obama made his centrist (right-wing by global and historical comparisons), business- and military-friendly commitments clear to those willing to do a bit of due-diligence research on his background, values, and world-view (see Paul Street, Barack Obama and the Future of American Politics [Paradigm 2008] for a reasonably comprehensive account). It was and is foolish, childish even, to expect progressive change from a carefully corporate-choreographed bourgeois election in the headquarters of world imperialism. "Do not," The Bible counsels, "put your faith in princes" (Psalms, 146:3).

More relevant than Obama's values or character and history is the simple cold fact that progressive forces have not developed the strength to hold Democratic or other elected officials' feet to the fire in ways that the political class feels forced to respect. We lack the capacity to compel politicians to reconsider their soulless service to concentrated power.

We need to build a progressive revolutionary movement before the establishment's perverted priorities finally poison the Earth and society beyond all hope of democratic renewal.

Helpfully enough for clearing away electoral illusions that obstruct that building project, the Obama presidency and the current Democratic Congress are great demonstrations of the richly bipartisan nature of the proto-totalitarian corporate-imperial system of American governance, in which, as C Wright Mills noted fifty-three years ago, "Public relations displace[s] reasoned argument; manipulations and un-debated decisions of power replace[s] democratic authority" (Mills, The Power Elite [New York: Oxford University Press, 1956], p. 355). The change we need isn't about electing and defending Democrats every few years, that's for sure. The last year has made that clear enough.

COSMIC DECEPTION: LET THE CITIZEN BEWARE

Imagine this. It is the summer of 2001, and someone presents you with a script for a movie or book that tells how a diabolical terrorist plot unfolds wherein both 110 story World Trade Center towers and part of the Pentagon are destroyed by commercial jets hijacked and flown into those structures.

Of course you would laugh, and if you were a movie mogul or book editor, reject it out of hand as ridiculous and implausible, even for a fictional novel or movie. After all, how could a commercial jet, being tracked on radar after two jets had already hit the World Trade towers, make it through our air defenses, into the most sensitive airspace in the world, and in broad daylight on a crystal clear day, slam into the Pentagon! And this in a country that spends over $1 billion a day to defend itself! Absurd, illogical - nobody would swallow it!

Unfortunately, there are some of us who have seen these scripts - and of far worse things to come - and we are not laughing.

One of the few silver linings to these recent tragedies is that maybe - just maybe - people will take seriously, however far-fetched it may seem at first, the prospect that a shadowy, para-governmental and transnational entity exists that has kept UFOs secret - and is planning a deception and tragedy that will dwarf the events of 9/11.

The testimony of hundreds of government, military and corporate insiders has established this: That UFOs are real, that some are built by our secret 'black' shadowy government projects and some are from extraterrestrial civilizations, and that a group has kept this secret so that the technology behind the UFO can be withheld - until the right time. This technology can - and eventually will - replace the need for oil, gas, coal, ionizing nuclear power, and other centralized and highly destructive energy systems.

This 5 trillion dollar industry - energy and transportation - is currently highly centralized, metered and lucrative. It is the stuff that runs the entire industrialized world. It is the mother of all special interests. It is not about money as you and I think of it, but about geo-political power - the very centralized power on which the current order in the world runs. The world is kept in a state of roiling wars, endless poverty for most of Earth's denizens and global environmental ruin, just to prop up this evil world order.

As immense as that game is, there is a bigger one: Control through fear. As Wernher von Braun related to Dr. Carol Rosin, his spokesperson for the last 4 years of his life, a maniacal machine - the military, industrial, intelligence, laboratory complex - would go from Cold War, to Rogue Nations, to Global Terrorism (the stage we find ourselves at today), to the ultimate trump card: A hoaxed threat from space.

To justify eventually spending trillions of dollars on space weapons, the world would be deceived about a threat from outer space, thus uniting the world in fear, in militarism, and in war.

Since 1992 I have seen this script unveiled to me by at least a dozen well-placed insiders. Of course, initially I laughed, thinking this just too absurd and far-fetched. Dr. Rosin gave her testimony to the Disclosure Project before 9/11. And yet others told me explicitly that things that looked like UFOs but that are built and under the control of deeply secretive 'black' projects, were being used to simulate - hoax - ET-appearing events, including some abductions and cattle mutilations, to sow the early seeds of cultural fear regarding life in outer space. And that at some point after global terrorism, events would unfold that would utilize the now-revealed Alien Reproduction Vehicles (ARVs, or reversed-engineered UFOs made by humans by studying actual ET craft - see the book "Disclosure" by the same author) to hoax an attack on Earth.

Like the movie "Independence Day", an attempt to unite the world through militarism would unfold using ET as the new cosmic scapegoat (think Jews during the Third Reich).

None of this is new to me or other insiders. The report from Iron Mountain, NY, written in the 1960s, described the need to demonize life in outer space so we could have a new enemy. An enemy off-planet that could unite humans (in fear and war) and that would prove to be the ultimate prop for the trillion dollar military industrial complex that conservative Republican President and five star general Eisenhower warned us about in 1961 (no one was listening then, either...).

So here is the post-9/11 script - one that will be played out unless enough people are informed and the plan can be foiled because they will be unable to fool a sufficient number of citizens and leaders:

After a period of terrorism - a period during which the detonation of nuclear devices will be threatened and possibly actuated, thus justifying expanding the weaponization of space - an effort will ramp up to present the public with information about a threat from outer space. Not just asteroids hitting the Earth, but other threats. An extraterrestrial threat.

Over the past 40 years, UFOlogy, as it is called, combined with a mighty media machine, has increasingly demonized ETs via fearsome movies like "Independence Day", and pseudo-science that presents alien kidnappings and abuse as a fact (in some circles) of modern life. That some humans have had contact with ETs I have no doubt; that the real ET contact has been subsumed in an ocean of hoaxed accounts I am certain.

That is, real ET events are seldom reported out to the public. The Machine ensures that the hoaxed, frightening and intrinsically xenophobic accounts are the ones seen and read by millions. This mental conditioning to fear ET has been subtly reinforced for decades, in preparation for future deceptions. Deceptions that will make 9/11 look trivial.

I write this now because I have recently been contacted by several highly placed media and intelligence sources that have made it clear to me that hoaxed events and story-lines are imminent that will attempt to further ramp up the fear machine regarding UFOs and ETs. After all, to have an enemy, you must make the people hate and fear a person, a group of people, or in this case an entire category of beings.

To be clear: the maniacal covert programs controlling UFO secrecy, ARVs and related technologies - including those technologies that can simulate ET events, ET abductions and the like - plan to hijack Disclosure, spin it into the fire of fear, and roll out events that will eventually present ETs as a new enemy. Do not be deceived.

This hogwash, already the stuff of countless books, videos, movies, documentaries and the like, will attempt to glom onto the facts, evidence and first-hand insider testimony of The Disclosure Project, and on its coattails, deliver to the world the cosmic deception that falsely portrays ETs as a threat from space. Do not be deceived.

By commingling fact with fiction, and by hoaxing UFO events that can look terrifying, the Plan is to eventually create a new, sustainable, off-planet enemy. And who will be the wiser?

You will. Because now you know that after 60 years, trillions of dollars and the best scientific minds in the world pressed into action, a secretive, shadowy group - a government within the government and at once fully outside the government as we know it - has mastered the technologies, the art of deception, and the capability to launch an attack on Earth and make it look like ETs did it. In 1997, I brought a man to Washington to brief members of Congress and others about this plan. Our entire team at the time met this man. He had been present at planning sessions when ARVs - things built by Lockheed, Northrup, et al, and housed in secretive locations around the world - would be used to simulate an attack on certain assets, making leaders and citizens alike believe that there was a threat from space, when there is none. (Before he could testify, his handlers spirited him away to a secret location in Virginia until the briefing was over...) Sound familiar? Wernher von Braun warned of such a hoax, as a pretext for putting war in space. And many others have warned of the same.

Space based weapons are already in place - part of a secret parallel space program that has been operating since the 1960s. ARVs are built and ready to go (see the book "Disclosure" and the chapter with the testimony of Mark McCandlish, et al). Space holographic deception technologies are in place, tested and ready to fire. And the Big Media is a pawn, now taking dictation from the right hand of the king.

I know this all sounds like science fiction. Absurd. Impossible. Just like 9/11 would have sounded before 9/11. But the unthinkable happened and may happen again, unless we are vigilant.

Combine all of this with the current atmosphere of fear and manipulation and there is a real risk of suspending our collective judgment and our constitution.

But know this: If there was a threat from outer space, we would have known about it as soon as humans started exploding nuclear weapons and going into space with manned travel. That we are still breathing the free air of Earth, given the galacticly stupid and reckless actions of an out of control, illegal, secret group, is abundant testimony to the restraint and peaceful intentions of these visitors. The threat is wholly human. And it is we who must address this threat, rein it in and transform the current situation of war, destruction and secret manipulation to one of true Disclosure and an era of sustained peace.

War in space, to replace war on Earth, is not evolution, but cosmic madness. A world thus united in fear is worse than one divided by ignorance. It is now time for the great leap into the future, a leap that moves us out of fear and ignorance and into an unbroken era of universal peace. Know that this is our destiny. And it will be ours just as soon as we choose it.

All modern societies on planet Earth follow patterns laid down long before the time of the Roman Empire. These top-down authoritarian pyramid structures were originally based on the ancient necessity for a vast horde of people working continually, to provide food and goods for the idle few who dwelt at society’s narrow summit.

The world is still a collection of feudal tribes, nations and empires. Only the accoutrements, costumes, technologies and furnishings have changed since ancient times; our lives are still constrained within the same old basic structures as the peoples of Sumer and Babylon. No matter how democratic or outwardly free, even the most liberal of nations is still fundamentally rigid and hidebound, following the ubiquitous hierarchical template of the pyramid builders.

Freedoms exist at the surfaces of things, different colours, fashions and veneers applied to cultures that provide no real choice to their constituents. Censorship and control of mass media are commonplace everywhere, and most freedom of information legislation is a beurocratic nightmare and a deliberate joke on every fair minded or idealistic citizen.

Everyone is expected to follow the same route, paying their way with the lifeblood of their precious time to provide imaginary numbers that flicker across ever-shifting screens. Feudal societies and racist dynasties have masked their ongoing existence with an updated shadow play of newly flavoured bread and freshly painted electronic circuses, grafting their power-mongering nonsense onto the age-old primate pack strategies of dominance and submission.

Rigid post-matriarchal societies can only exist if everyone ignores simple codes of ethics and ‘golden rules’ - the only legalisms any society really needs to survive and thrive – and follows arbitrary statutes and slave-making laws instead. Beurocratic institutions are all based on the superannuated fantasies of clerical dogmatists and most still ensure that true freedom is curtailed via the creation of myriad regulations and victimless criminals, whose punishments serve as warnings to any who would take a step out of line or reach for a tasty morsel of summarily forbidden fruit.

Through the lens of contemporary and recent events, it’s easy to see how modern humans have been bred to maintain servile stances, mirthlessly trudging along daily treadmills beneath the watchful stares of unimaginative overseers. At the top of all social pyramids murderous predators lurk, controlling all that occurs within the idiosyncratic tribalistic communities and states they arrogantly assume that they own, lock, stock and barrel.

Racism - whipping up fear of those outside one’s immediate bloodline - has always lain at the roots of all caste structures, class systems, the regional lies of religions, eternal vengeful feuding and endless bloody wars. The basis of racism is the natural urge to love one’s family more than everyone else’s. This innate survival trait is easily exploited by those to whom any arbitrary difference from their own narrow range of ‘norms’ means life or death for the unwary.

Keeping the populace ignorant and stupid was always easy in the days of near-universal illiteracy; age-old methods have always sufficed to ensure that individualistic non-compliers, outright superior mutants and tall poppies are bred out of the domesticated primate stock.

For the last few millennia, the more intelligent humans have been regularly rounded up, culled or exterminated. In most times and places, any behaviour other than complete submission to the dominant regime or superstition has been greeted with dismemberment or beheading. Inquisitions, pogroms and witch hunting expeditions have ensured anyone living beyond societal norms has been prevented from contributing to the gene pool.

The ruthless beheading of the Soviet intelligentsia under Stalin is but one obvious example of the deliberate dumbing down of an entire nation. The most totalitarian regimes reduce human potential to the lowest common denominator very swiftly, and ensure that mediocrity soon becomes the norm. Yet the same rapid decline can be found in any society or social grouping based on any exclusivist religion, ideology or dogmatic belief. Every human culture deviates only very slightly from all others in terms of the hierarchical structure which underlies all day to day interactions.

The top-down nature of all these simulacra of truly free civilizations is a clue to their true origins. You know them by their fruits. Everyone and everything is numbered and collated and genetic typecasting is still a sure ticket to a fixed place in the caste system, just as it was in ancient India or antediluvian Atlantis.

Warrior castes dominate the roost, and the most egregious of all are oft warlords supreme, living high on the hog at the summit of various satrapies and notional nations. All countries are but imaginary lines in an age-old game of divide and conquer, no more valid or eternal than transitory teams of ball game players. Everyone is deliberately set against everyone else and any differences are ruthlessly exploited in a system that’s fundamentally based on racist prerogatives.

The rulers in the nations of each great racial family consider themselves a race apart, born to rule over all others on Earth – starting with their own extended families.

True freedom is not a matter of ‘freedom to’ or ‘freedom from’, but a state of being uninvolved with habitual attachments. The enlightened see through perpetually recurring emotional cycles that thrive on mundane melodrama and evolve beyond the need for an addiction to ongoing tragedies or the adrenaline rush provided by self-induced fear.

The way out of the system is always inward. Knowing your true self is the only path to liberation. Judging and forgiving yourself is the only way to evolve beyond the currently dominating paradigm. Applying ideas and ideals like ‘justice’ or ‘mercy’ to others is as self-defeating as blindly obeying the whims of this week’s dictator or president. The rulership of all our leaders is illusory and their freedom is non-existent. Your consciousness is the only reality in the universe and their orders and regulations are momentary aberrations that will soon pass away.

We all suffer or rejoice in a world of our own creation. The external world is a malleable template that responds to every deep instinct and feeling we experience and project. Which emotion would you prefer to experience? That’s a far more important question than ‘what do you want to do’, or buy, or be; emotions are the fuel that drives you.

First Algae-Fueled Car Crossing the Country

The first algae-fueled vehicle called the Algaeus has begun its drive across the country. The car, a converted plug-in Prius outfitted with a nickel-metal hydride battery and filled with a blend of 5 percent algae and 95 percent gasoline from Sapphire Energy, set out from San Francisco yesterday and will take 10 days to make it to Washington, DC.

The group responsible for the Algaeus, the Veggie Van Organization, expects the car will only require 25 gallons of fuel to make the entire trip.

Yes, a 5 percent blend of algae doesn't exactly signal the start of an algae revolution, but it does mean that progress is being made on fuel with great potential and this road trip lets people see the progress in action. The main point of the Algaeus is to show the ability of algae to be used in a standard engine.

The road trip isn't being made just to show off the algae car, but to also promote the film FUEL that discusses solutions for our dependence on foreign oil and opens on September 18th, the day the algae car will reach its destination.

Sapphire Energy plans to produce two million gallons of algae fuel per year for the next two years with hopes of it becoming cost-competitive in the next few years at $60 to $80 a barrel. The company intends to create a 10 percent algae blend for its future commercial products. Sapphire is also producing one million gallons of algae-based jet fuel this year.

The ever more apparent negative effects of carbon emissions are driving a new urgency to reduce, if not eliminate, oil-based transportation emissions.

Gasoline-powered vehicles are a major contributor to carbon emissions in the developed world, accounting for 33% of carbon emissions in the United States, and as much as 50% of carbon emissions in some of the countries in Europe. Gasoline-powered vehicles also contribute to air pollution, which is increasingly problematic in urban centers around the world. According to the World Health Organization, 900,000 people die each year from causes directly attributable to outdoor air pollution.

To achieve major emissions reductions, we need to (1) increase the energy efficiency of our transportation system and (2) shift away from products that burn fossil fuels.

Mass adoption of electric vehicles provides an opportunity to achieve both of these goals simultaneously. First, the inherent efficiency of electric motors allow us to travel three times farther in EVs than gasoline-powered vehicles per unit of energy. Second, by moving toward electricity-powered transport, we open up new opportunities to utilize excess electricity that currently goes to waste at off-peak times, and to create new markets for renewable energy from wind, solar, geothermal and tidal sources.

Increasingly over time, the use of renewable energy based on wind, solar and other clean technologies to charge electric vehicles will minimize our impact on the environment and lessen our dependence on oil.

Efficient use of available energy

Better Place’s solution will provide utility companies with energy demand management capabilities that can minimize charging requirements during peak electricity consumption hours by leveraging connectivity with the car and known user profiles. For example, Better Place has developed algorithms that will construct individual user charge plans aimed at minimizing charging requirements during peak hours. Better Place’s services will also create an opportunity for utilities to utilize electricity produced from intermittent renewable energy sources more effectively (e.g., wind power generated at night).

Electric vehicles offer a superior driving experience, delivering instant torque and smooth acceleration in an ultra-quiet environment.

The electric car is becoming inevitable. Nearly every major automaker has an active program to develop and introduce EVs, ultimately providing the consumer a broad range of options. Better Place is currently working with the Renault-Nissan Alliance, which will be among the first to introduce EVs, and is also in discussion with major auto manufacturers around the world.

These electric vehicles will be distinctive in more respects than their zero tailpipe emissions. EVs inherently provide instant torque, delivering smooth, seamless acceleration. EVs also offer ultra-quiet operation. And since these cars typically have half the moving parts of their gas combustion engine counterparts, lower maintenance costs are expected. All this means that in the coming decade, EVs will be at the center of mainstream personal transportation.

Over the last 100 years, oil has fueled industrial development, mobility and prosperity for much of the world. Future progress will be made possible by new sources of energy.

Although we have consumed only 30% of the Earth’s proven reserves, much of the remaining supply is locked away in unconventional sources like tar sands and deep water, making it far more expensive to extract. As we spend more on production and approach what has been termed “peak oil”, further pressure is expected from new demand from industrializing countries such as China and India.

Rise of renewable energy

Renewable energy is the most attractive alternative moving forward. However, even though the Earth’s endowment of sun, wind, wave, river and geothermal resources are more than enough to meet our energy needs, only 2% of global electricity (and an even lower percentage of transportation energy) is currently generated by non-hydro renewable sources.

The recent growth in investment in renewable energy is encouraging. A study sponsored by the United Nations found that the 2007 global investment in renewable energy totaled $148.4 billion USD, up 60% from 2006. Much of this increase has come from solar energy and wind power, whose prices have declined steeply over the past few years. Yet, without technological breakthroughs, further cost reductions are dependent on volume scaling and the ability to capture off-peak generation.

Renewable energy and transportation

The economics of renewables create an extraordinary opportunity for transportation. But the economics of transportation also create an extraordinary opportunity for renewables. A transition from our current system – in which 98% of transportation is powered by oil products – to an electric transportation system based on renewables, would benefit both renewable energy and transportation.

First, an electric vehicle system can take advantage of underutilized electricity, reducing oil consumption and providing resources for renewable development. U.S. government research shows that 73% of its domestic light vehicles could be replaced by EVs without requiring any additional capacity when the EV system is complemented with a “smart grid” that optimally manages the flow of available electricity. Second, EVs can alleviate the problems of intermittency, unpredictability and off-peak generation that have hindered the progress of renewable energy in the past. Third, because EVs offer energy efficiency up to three times greater than that of gasoline-powered vehicles, EVs reduce the overall burden on energy resources.

Denmark, for example, presents a strong case for the economics of the transition. Denmark’s wind farms generate electricity at variable rates caused by unpredictable changes in wind patterns. Further, the wind farms generate much of their electricity at night, when winds are high but demand for electricity is low. If a critical mass of EVs is plugged in at night, they collectively serve as a distributed energy storage device that absorbs renewable energy as it become available, which then powers transportation the following day. Denmark’s DONG Energy estimates that the country’s entire fleet of 2 million passenger vehicles – if replaced with EVs – could run on fewer than 750 windmills (or about 60% of the installed wind capacity Denmark has right now).

Charge spots

Better Place intends to deploy charge spots at private homes, workplaces and public locations such as parking lots and streets. As the vast majority of driving trips are shorter than the range of a fully-charged EV battery, Better Place anticipates that most subscribers will use charge spots as their primary method of recharging. At your home, a Better Place charge spot will provide safe, reliable, high-power charging using the Better Place network. On the street, in your work parking lot or at the shopping center, Better Place charge spots will be available to provide easy access to energy.

Battery switch stations

The Better Place battery switch stations are designed to allow drivers on a long trip to switch a depleted battery for one with a full charge, in less time than it takes to fill a tank with gasoline.

At a Better Place switch station, the driver enters a lane and proceeds along a switch-lane conveyor. The automated switch platform below the vehicle will align under the battery, initiate the battery release process and lower the battery from the vehicle. It will then replace the depleted battery with a fully-charged battery. The depleted battery is placed in a storage room and recharged to be available to other drivers. The process is completed in just a few minutes, while the driver remains in the car, providing a fast and convenient range-extension solution.

EVs now take advantage of the most advanced lithium-ion battery technologies which are recyclable, environmentally friendly, and safe.

Better Place is working with battery manufacturers such as A123 Systems and AESC, leaders in the development and manufacture of lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion technology, the most promising battery technology for use in vehicles, has already proven to be effective, recyclable, environmentally friendly, and safe. Further advances in battery performance (including power, range, charge time, lifetime, and cost) are expected as $1 billion per year is invested into lithium-ion battery research, with an increasing proportion going into automotive applications.

Performance & range

Lithium-ion batteries offer significant performance gains relative to battery chemistries such as nickel metal hydride (NiMH), used in many of today’s hybrids. Lithium-ion batteries can store significantly more energy and generate twice the power per unit volume than these hybrid batteries. These storage capacity and power generation improvements are critical in maximizing the range of a vehicle. The result is that a lithium-ion battery in a typical sedan can deliver a range of about 100 miles / 160 kilometers on a single charge.

Charge time

Most cars are parked for more than 20 hours a day, and almost all are parked overnight. Better Place will work with customers to provide charge spots where their cars are typically parked, be it at home, work, nearby parking lot or on a street. Given that a vehicle battery can be recharged in three to seven hours, if a driver plugs in an EV at night, she/he will wake up every day to a fully charged battery. This type of charging is ideal in that energy demand is lowest during the night and there will be little to no need for additional electrical capacity from the grid. To exchange a battery during a long trip (over 100 miles or 160 kilometers), Better Place customers will be able to use a roadside battery switch station, in which their depleted battery will be switched to fully charged one in less than five minutes.

Battery cost and lifetime

The cost of lithium-ion batteries has come down by nearly 75% in the past several years, creating a cost effective, high performance solution for EVs. The lifetime of these new lithium-ion batteries is significantly higher than that of batteries in today’s hybrids. These batteries are expected to perform over 10 years and 7,000 recharges, a major improvement over earlier generations of vehicle batteries.

Safety, recyclability, environmental friendliness

The safety of today’s battery technology is unprecedented. Better Place uses advanced lithium-ion batteries made from non-toxic materials. While early generations of lithium-ion batteries had a propensity to overheat, today’s lithium-ion battery has high abuse tolerance, low heat evolution, stable cathode material, and an intelligent pack design that ensures consumer safety.

A lithium-ion battery can also be recycled with minimal environmental impact. More than 95% of the battery materials can be recovered and reused.

Dr. Stevenson has devoted the last forty years to the scientific documentation of pas life memories of children from all over the world. He has over 3000 cases in his files. Many people, including skeptics and scholars, agree that these cases offer the best evidence yet for reincarnation.

Forty years of research by Professor Ian Stevenson (University of Virginia) provides impressive evidence that each one of us is different from his/her physical body and is able to function independently of it. Stevenson has published dozens of carefully-researched cases (see bibliography) in which young children report verifiable details of what they claim were previous lives. The following is a typical case in terms of obscure and detailed information reported by the child. It is atypical in that the previous personality predicted his rebirth.

Obscure and Verifiable Details

In 1945 Victor Vincent, a resident of Sitka, Alaska, informed a young friend of his, Mrs. Chotkin, that he was to die soon and be reborn as her son. He expressed the desire that in his next life as her son he would not stutter as he did in this life. He pulled up his shirt and showed her a scar on his back that was the result of a surgical operation performed several years earlier. The small round holes of the stitches were clearly visible. He also showed her a scar on the right side of his nose (near the eye) that was the result of a surgical operation there. He informed her that in his next life as her son he would have the same marks on his body in the same places, and thereby she would be able to recognize him as Victor Vincent reborn.

A year later he died. Eighteen months thereafter Mrs. Chotkin gave birth to a boy she named Corliss. She told Stevenson that on the body of Corliss at the time of his birth were the same marks, in the same places, as those on the body of Victor Vincent. In 1962 Stevenson visited Alaska and described the mark on Corliss’s back: “It was heavily pigmented and raised. It extended about one inch in length and a quarter inch in width. Along its margins one could still easily discern several small round marks outside the main scar. Four of these on one side lined up like the stitch wounds of surgical operations” (Stevenson, 1974, p.260).

Eliminating Alternate Explanations

Critics claiming fraud by Mrs. Chotkin for monetary gain are silenced by Stevenson’s report that she gained no money from him or anyone else. The claim that she faked the case for notoriety is refuted by the fact that hardly anyone (including her own daughter) was aware that she believed Corliss was Victor Vincent reborn. The claim that she faked the birthmarks is hard to believe, since she was a simple housewife with no access to the sophisticated lab equipment required to fake birthmarks. In fact, it is doubtful that anyone in the world in 1962 would have been able to fake the birthmarks well enough to fool Stevenson (himself an M.D. and professor).

One day when Corliss’s mother was trying to get him to say his name, instead of saying the name “Corliss” he said “Don’t you know me? I’m Kahkody” (Stevenson, 1974, p.260). Kahkody was a nickname of Victor Vincent.

Corliss identified strongly with Victor Vincent and was able to spontaneously recognize a number of people that Victor Vincent had known. Stevenson (1974, p.261) said that when Corliss was two years old he recognized Victor Vincent’s son named William. Corliss saw him on the street and spontaneously said, “There is William, my son.”

About that same time Corliss also spontaneously recognized a stepdaughter of Victor Vincent’s. He saw her at the docks of Sitka and correctly said her name, Susie. At that time he was being pushed by his mother along the street in a carriage. Stevenson said that Corliss exhibited great excitement when he saw her, so much so that he was jumping up and down. He said, “There is my Susie.” Corliss also hugged her with great affection. Corliss recognized Susie before his mother had noticed her. Stevenson mentioned that Mrs. Chotkin did not go to the docks with the intention of meeting Susie. In a similar way, when Corliss was three years old he spontaneously recognized and Victor Vincent’s widow and called her by her correct name, Rose. He recognized her in a crowd of people before Mrs. Chotkin had seen her. Stevenson reported that Corliss also recognized a number of other people that Victor Vincent had known.

Stevenson (1974, p.261-262) wrote that Corliss was able to provide a detailed account of certain events that had occurred in the life of Victor Vincent. One day Corliss related an experience Vincent had had when he was out on a fishing trip. The engine of Vincent’s boat had broken and left him helpless in one of the many hazardous channels of southeastern Alaska. Vincent wanted to attract the attention of any ship that might be passing by, but he thought that most crews would not take much notice of an ordinary fisherman. It turns out that he happened to be a part-time worker for the Salvation Army, and he had with him a Salvation Army uniform. He put on this uniform and rowed in a small boat to attract the attention of a passing ship named the North Star. He asked some of the crew members to deliver a message for him. Mrs. Chotkin heard this story directly from Victor Vincent himself when he was alive. She was sure that Corliss had not heard the story from her or her husband before he told it to them.

On another occasion Mrs. Chotkin and Corliss were at the house that was previously owned by Mrs. Chotkin and her family during the life of Victor Vincent. Corliss pointed to a room in the house and said that he (as Vincent) and his wife had slept in this room when they visited the Chotkins. This statement is impressive since at the time Corliss was visiting the house, it had been reorganized and was being used for purposes other than an ordinary residential house. None of the rooms in it were recognizable as bedrooms. But the room that Corliss pointed to had in fact been occupied by Victor Vincent and his wife when they had visited the Chotkins.

The claim that Corliss acquired all this information by psychic power (and hence reincarnation is not required to explain the informational aspects of this and other similar cases) is refuted by the observation that Corliss was unable to provide such impressive information about anyone other than Victor Vincent. The same is true for the many other cases reported by Stevenson.

Mrs. Chotkin told Stevenson that certain of Corliss’s behavior patterns closely resembled those of Victor Vincent. She mentioned that Corliss combed his hair forward over his forehead in the same way that Vincent had done, although she had tried to train Corliss to comb his hair in exactly the opposite manner.

As mentioned earlier, Victor Vincent stuttered severely and told Mrs. Chotkin a year before his death that he hoped he would stutter less in his next life as her son. Corliss also stuttered severely when he was young, until he received speech therapy around the age of ten. Vincent was a very religious Christian. When Corliss was young, he expressed similar devoutness. Vincent was very fond of handling boats and living on the water. Corliss had the same interest. In fact, Corliss surprised his parents by repairing a boat engine without any training. Both Vincent and Corliss were left-handed.

Correlation Between Birthmarks and Wounds

Stevenson (1987, p.101) wrote that he had researched hundreds of cases in which a child claiming reincarnation had distinctive birthmarks supporting this claim, and in about thirty cases he had obtained independent corroboration (in the form of medical records or autopsies) of similar marks on the body of the previous personality. These are described in Stevenson (1997). There are many cases in which a child reported that he was violently murdered (usually by shooting or stabbing) in his previous life, and the child had on his body a birthmark of the same shape and in the same place as the fatal wound in his previous life. Stevenson wrote (1987, p.101): “Birthmarks and birth defects related to the previous personality seem to me to provide some of the strongest evidence in favor of reincarnation as the best interpretation for the cases. They are objectively observable (I have photographed several hundred of them), and for most of them the only serious alternative explanation that I can think of is a psychic force on the part of the baby’s mother that influences the body of the embryo or fetus within her. However, this explanation, which is itself almost as mind-stretching (for the average Westerner) as reincarnation, can be firmly excluded in about twelve cases in which the child’s mother and father had never heard of the identified previous personality until after the child’s birth.”

Those who want to eliminate the hypothesis of reincarnation and explain everything as psychic force on the part of the child must take into account the fact that the marks are present on the child’s body at the time of birth. This means that the child would have had to be able to wield this psychic force while in his mother’s womb, which is more consistent with the hypothesis of reincarnation than psychic force without reincarnation.

Functioning Without a Physical Body

Dr. Stevenson reported a number of cases in which the conscious self existed for days, weeks and even years without a physical body and acquired information by transcorporal senses. (Transcorporal senses refer to senses that are different from those of the physical body and able to function independently of it.) For example, a Thai boy named Bongkuch Promsin claimed that in his previous life he was a Laotian man named Chamrat who was stabbed to death (Stevenson, 1987, p.68). After the murder, the conscious self that had resided in the body of Chamrat remained in a discarnate state for seven years, staying near a bamboo tree in the vicinity of the murder. One rainy day the discarnate Chamrat saw Bongkuch’s father and accompanied him home on a bus. Bongkuch’s father later told Stevenson that he happened to visit Hua Tanon (the place where Chamrat was murdered) shortly before his wife became pregnant with Bongkuch. Bongkuch’s father said that the day he went to Hua Tanon was in fact a rainy day.

An Indian boy named Veer Singh said that after the death of his previous body (belonging to a man named Som Dutt) he, as a discarnate conscious self, remained near Som Dutt’s family and observed their activities. Veer Singh said that he accompanied members of this family who left the house at night and went out alone. Stevenson said that Som Dutt’s mother had a dream in which Som Dutt told her that he had accompanied his brother a number of times when his brother had surreptitiously left the house at night to attend local fairs. When this brother was asked, he admitted that he was in fact attending local fairs at night, but no one in the family knew about it until Som Dutt’s mother had this dream. Stevenson added that Veer Singh also knew about other private family affairs that took place after Som Dutt’s death and before Veer Singh was born, including the fact that the family bought a camel, that they were involved in a lawsuit, and that several children were born during this period (Stevenson, 1987, p.110).

The persons who reported seeing things in the discarnate state could not have been using physical eyes. Thus, the above evidence supports the hypothesis that the conscious self is inherently transcorporal and possesses transcorporal senses.

Reincarnation is a Natural Process That Happens to All of Us

The idea that reincarnation is a natural process that all conscious selves undergo when their physical bodies die is supported by Stevenson’s statements that it is easy to find persons who claim to remember a previous life in certain places such as West Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon and the northwestern part of North America (Stevenson 1980, p.13; 1987, p.93). Stevenson said that in these places he has received so many reports of possible cases that he simply did not have enough time to investigate them all. It is important to note that cases of the reincarnation type are found not only in southeast Asia but all over the world.

Stevenson wrote, “Fortunately, many new cases are available, and as I mentioned in the General Introduction to this series, I should have no difficulty whatever in indicating places in several countries where an investigator can easily find more cases of this type than he could possibly study” (Stevenson, 1980, p.351).

Stevenson mentioned that he has also found and investigated many cases of the reincarnation type in the other parts of North America and Europe. The lesser frequency of reported cases in these countries is due to the fact that many parents ignore or suppress their children’s statements that would support such cases, and hence they can not come to the attention of investigators like Stevenson (Stevenson, 1987, p.93-94). Careful studies by other scientists have uncovered dozens of cases similar to those reported by Stevenson. See, for example, Pasricha (1990, 1992, 1998), Mills (1989, 1990), Haraldsson (1991, 1997), and Keil (1996).

One might raise the following objection: “If reincarnation is actually true, why don’t I or more people I know remember a previous life?” A reasonable answer is that the power to remember a previous life is a rare talent like Einstein’s mathematical talent or Mozart’s musical talent. The fact that I and my friends do not have these talents does not mean that no one has these talents. Obviously Einstein and Mozart were real historical persons. Another important consideration is that there are things which we know we went through (such as being in our mother’s womb) but which we have no memory of. To say that I was not in my mother’s womb because I don’t remember it is clearly fallacious logic.

Technical Remote Viewing is a highly structured and standardized technique that allows you to consistently obtain accurate information, on demand, using a rigorously applied set of protocols. It is a trained ability to acquire accurate direct knowledge of things and events - targets - distant in time or space, while conscious awareness remains totally "blind" to details about the target itself. It is a data collection skill. Like any other skill, practice is required to become proficient. The TRV techniques result in an accurate transfer of information from the viewer's unconscious mind into conscious awareness, before the aware, creative, and analytical part of the mind has time to distort, contaminate, or otherwise interfere with the data flow. The target information is then converted into words or sketches, using only a pen and plain white paper. During this process, the viewer becomes linked directly to the collective unconscious - also referred to as the Matrix. The process works whether the target is in the next room or on the other side of the world. This information can exist anywhere in time or at any point in the Universe, as mind exists outside of time and space.

All humans have the innate potential to receive detailed information on a target, using only their minds. But throughout history, only a small number of exceptional natural psychics developed their ability to a point of repeatability and consistency. It was not until the late twentieth century when the U.S. intelligence community poured millions of research dollars into the area of psychic functioning that a true breakthrough was realized. In an effort to use psychics for intelligence gathering purposes, the Defense Intelligence Agency contracted Stanford Research Institute to develop a reliable technique that could be used to collect accurate information on distant targets. The outcome of this research was a set of protocols and a training program that allowed virtually anyone to be trained to perceive psychically derived information, while surpassing the accuracy of the best known natural psychics. For the first time, a remote viewer could learn how to consistently separate imagination from true target data and remain locked on to the target signal. Unlike earlier research involving "out-of-body experiences" and freestyle Extended Remote Viewing (ERV), the remote viewer worked fully conscious at a state of high attention. The protocols were designed to slowly bring the viewer to closer target contact, working from the general to the specific, collecting bits and pieces of data in a specific and structured manner, with all viewers following the same rigorously applied six stage process.

Remote Viewing as an Applied Military Intelligence Tool

The refinement and development of the process did not end in the laboratory. In the Defense Intelligence Agency's unit, these remote viewing procedures were tested against top secret and distant targets often involving life or death situations - a motivating factor which simply does not exist in the laboratory research environment. The work these viewers produced had to be accurate and they used it to save lives, find hostages and solve complex problems involving the security of the United States.

This resulted in improvements in the techniques and training regimen and brought great strides in perfecting the accuracy of the skill. It was now a highly accurate military intelligence collection and problem solving tool, applied by highly disciplined military intelligence officers. One of the training officers of the remote viewing unit formed a private corporation, in 1989, and the former presiding General of INSCOM (Intelligence Security Command) sat on the board of directors, to help usher this technology out of the confines of secrecy and into the private sector. That company is PSI TECH.

How does TRV work?

First, a target cue or name is formulated and assigned a set of eight random numbers, which serve to keep the process blind and act as a label for administrative purposes. The viewer only receives these numbers and then follows the stages of TRV structure, in order, working for usually forty five minutes in a single session. In the end, the viewer working alone or in concert with a team, almost always has an extremely accurate description of the target, including sketches and often the solution to a problem.

Where does the information come from?

Think of all of the information in the entire universe existing as patterns of information, at a single dimensional space somewhere. Think of a computer disk. Except this library of information is active. It isn't passive like a regular library or a random access memory disk. It's as if your personal unconscious mind is interfacing with a library that's talking to you. And the way that the books are stored, in this collective unconscious, is in the form of information patterns. Each of these patterns is unique for every person, every place, every thing and every event.

When Technical Remote Viewing, you are turning your unconscious mind toward these specific patterns of information that you or your tasker is interested in, in a consistent and very accurate manner, producing descriptions in terms of words, and sketches that fit this pattern - this target. That is essentially the way that the unconscious mind communicates data to conscious awareness, when your mind is trained in this skill.

Properly creating a target cue is analogous to an internet search, or a library search for those of you who are unfamiliar with internet search engines. In a library, you fill out your library card, and you give it to the librarian, and if you're interested in, let's say Abraham Lincoln, the librarian comes back with several books, or tomes, on Abraham Lincoln. If you're interested in something that's more specific that only existed momentarily, then you might only get one book. If you conducted a library search or an internet search on something that was an abstract or general term like "medical cures," you'd get dozens of books. Because, in that case, you're dealing with a very general term that is associated with other abstract ideas, a problem for instance, that affects many different things. And so, for us, in our library search of what we call the Matrix, or the collective unconscious, this is a very unwieldy search term. However, if you select a specific disease as a search term, the results will be limited to that specific cure or treatment. So, using our model, that is essentially how the process works and how information is downloaded.

MORE than a year after an explosion of sparks, soot and frigid helium shut it down, the world's biggest and most expensive physics experiment, known as the Large Hadron Collider, is poised to start up again.

A pair of distinguished Danish and Japanese physicists have suggested that the hypothesised Higgs boson, which is supposed to imbue elementary particles with matter and which physicists hope to produce with the collider, might be so abhorrent to nature that its creation would ripple backward through time and stop the collider before it could make one, like a time traveller who goes back in time to kill his grandfather.

Holger Bech Nielsen, of the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, and Masao Ninomiya, of the Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics in Kyoto, put forward this idea in a series of papers posted on the physics website arXiv.org in the past 18 months in an attempt to explain why everything seems to be going wrong with the Large Hadron Collider, built by the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN).

This malign influence from the future, they argue, could explain why the US Superconducting Super Collider, also designed to find the Higgs, was cancelled in 1993 after billions of dollars had already been spent, an event so unlikely that Nielsen calls it an ''anti-miracle''.

''It must be our prediction that all Higgs-producing machines shall have bad luck,'' Professor Nielsen said.

Professors Nielsen and Ninomiya started laying out their case for doom in the first half of 2008. Later that year, after the CERN collider was turned on, a connection between two magnets vapourised, shutting down the collider for more than a year.

Professor Nielsen agreed that scepticism was in order. After all, most big science projects, including the Hubble Space Telescope, have had a period of seeming jinxed. At CERN, the beat goes on. Last weekend the French police arrested a particle physicist who works on one of the collider experiments, on suspicion of conspiracy with a North African wing of al-Qaeda.

Professors Nielsen and Ninomiya have proposed a kind of test: that CERN engage in a game of chance, a ''card-drawing'' exercise using perhaps a random-number generator, in order to discern bad luck from the future. If the outcome was sufficiently unlikely, say drawing the one spade in a deck with 100 million hearts, the machine would either not run at all, or only at low energies unlikely to find the Higgs.

Yes, it's crazy, and CERN is not about to mortgage its investment on a coin toss.

As Niels Bohr, Professor Nielsen's late countryman and one of the founders of quantum theory, once told a colleague: ''We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question that divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct.''

1) This invention relates to apparatus for the electrodynamic propulsion of bodies into space.

2) Machine for acceleration in a gravitational field. A machine comprising an electrically polarized body, and means for moving the body in one direction to accelerate electrons, thereby generating an accelerating force in another direction due to an interaction between the accelerated electrons and the gravitational field.

3) Apparatus and method for generating a time variant non-electromagnetic force field due to the dynamic interaction of relatively moving bodies and for transforming such force fields into energy for doing useful work.

The method of generating such time variant force fields including the steps of juxtaposing in field series relationship a stationary member of spin nuclei material, and a member capable of assuming relative motion with respect to said stationary member also characterized by spin nuclei material; initiating relative motion by rotation of said one member with respect to the other, which rotational motion may occur both about an axis within the plane of said other member and about an axis perpendicular thereto; whereby the rotational motion of said one member about the axis perpendicular to the plane of said other member results in the dual interaction of the angular momentum property of said one member with inertial space and also with respect to the angular momentum property of said other member, thereby resulting in a dynamic interaction field arising through gravitational coupling which dynamic interaction field is further characterized by its non-electromagnetic nature and its mass-proximity and relative motion dependency; the rotation of said one member about the axis within the plane of said other member further resulting in an undulation of the dynamic interaction field within said other member which in turn gives rise to a secondary time-variant gravitational field in the surrounding space.

4) This device is a brushless high-voltage electrical generator, requiring suitable means of input rotary torque, for purposes of producing a very-high-energy external electrodynamic field or continuous quasi-coherent DC corona or arc discharge of uniform current density which completely encloses the machine's conductive housing.

This housing is divided into distinct electrical sections and contains a flat conductive rotor which electrically links separate negative and positive housing sections and upon which a plurality of toroidal generating coils are rotatably mounted. Circular arrays of stationary permanent magnets are affixed within the housing which induce a constant DC voltage within said coils upon their rotation.

The primary voltage so-generated is electrostatically impressed across the rotor such that great quantities of electronic charge may be transported between the opposite polarity sections of the housing, in such a manner that a much higher secondary voltage is caused to appear across interposed neutral sections thereof, and the resulting external breakdown current once initiated is independent of the generating coils' ampacity. Ancillary mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic features may be attached upon or within the housing to aid in harnessing and controlling the useful effects associated with the external dynamic electric field produced by the device.

5) This invention relates to electrical apparatus and more particularly to an apparatus for utilizing electrical current and voltages for the production of forces for causing motion of the apparatus. I have discovered certain new and improved apparatus for producing thrust in response to the direct application of electrical potentials and currents.

It is an object of this invention to provide an improved apparatus for producing thrust by means of applied electrical potentials. It is a further object of this invention to provide an improved apparatus for producing thrust in response to the application of electrical potentials and electrical currents.

6) This invention relates to an electrical device for producing thrust by the direct operation of electrical fields. I have discovered that a shaped electrical field may be employed to propel a device relative to its surroundings in a manner which is both novel and useful. Mechanical forces are created which move the device continuously in one direction while the masses making up the environment move in the opposite direction.

When the device is operated in a dielectric fluid medium, such as air, the forces of reaction appear to be present in that medium as well as on all solid material bodies making up the physical environment.
In a vacuum, the reaction forces appear on the solid environmental bodies, such as the walls of the vacuum chamber. The propelling force however is not reduced to zero when all environmental bodies are removed beyond the apparent effective range of the electrical field.

7) A dipolar force field propulsion system having a alternating electric field source for producing electromotive lines of force which extend in a first direction and which vary at a selected frequency and having an electric field strength of a predetermined magnitude, a source of an alternating magnetic field having magnetic lines of force which extend in a second direction which is at a predetermined angle to the first direction of the electromotive lines of force and which cross and intercept the electromotive line of force at a predetermined location defining a force field region and wherein the frequency of the alternating magnetic field substantially equal to the frequency of the alternating electric field and at a selected in phase angle therewith and wherein the magnetic field has a flux density which when multiplied times the selected frequency is less than a known characteristic field ionization potential limit; a source of neutral particles of matter having a selected dipole characteristic and having a known characteristic field ionization potential limit which is greater than the magnitude of the electric field and wherein the dipoles of the particles of matter are capable of being driven into cyclic rotation at the selected frequency by the electric field to produce a reactive thrust, a vaporizing stage which vaporizes said particles of matter into a gaseous state at a selected temperature, and a transporting system for transporting the vaporized particles of matter into the force field defined by the crossing electromotive lines of force and the magnetic lines of force.

8) My invention relates to electrokinetic apparatus, and more particularly to a method and apparatus for utilizing electrical potentials for the production of forces for the purpose of causing relative motion between a structure and the surrounding medium.

9) An electromagnetic energy propulsion engine system including a hollow housing having a front part and a rear end part of material transparent to the passage of electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic field generating solenoidal windings, having central axes parallel with the central axis of the engine and axially spaced from each other to provide a forward field generating winding and a rear field generating winding, a power source, a control computer, and a power pulse generator connected between the electromagnetic field generating windings and the power source and control computer.

The forward field generating winding generates a rearwardly directed magnetic field toward the rear wall parallel to the central axis, and the rear field generating winding produces a forwardly directed magnetic field opposing the rearwardly directed magnetic field of the forward field generating winding so that the rearwardly directed magnetic field repels forwardly directed pulses of the rear magnetic generating winding.

As the electrical current conduction in the rear field generating winding suddenly reduces, the continuing rearwardly directed magnetic field force transmits pulsating magnetic field energy produced by the rear field generating winding through the rear of the housing. The reaction to the rearwardly transmitted field energy produces a thrust propelling the engine and a vehicle in which it is mounted.

10) The present invention relates to conversion of energy, and in particular to the use of electrical potentials for producing forces to cause motion of a structure by direct operation of electric fields, thus providing a thrust sufficient for propelling a vehicle.

How much freedom can one man stand?

Not much more, dear hearts, not much more

Freedom comes in many forms in America, and new forms are constantly being created. The latest has been freedom from basic financial security. The weakened economy has given corporatists an excuse to, as they say, "let workers go." Which sounds as if companies are granting employees some sort of freedom: "Go on George, twenty years on the job is long enough, so git outta here. Have yourself a ball!"

By that measure, there have never been a more free people. Now benevolently relieved of their job responsibilities, millions are free to do almost anything they choose, go fishing -- or take up the banjo. At the moment 14 million Americans have been granted freedom, with another three or four million expected to be pardoned before the economy "levels out," meaning more people will lose their jobs, but at a slower rate. Of those 14 million liberated souls, six million are so free they can even take the family on a year-long round the world trip, if they so choose. They need no longer report in at the (un)employment office because their benefits have expired. One little suggestion for their trip abroad: visit the guy in Asia who now has your job. With a little effort, I'm sure you can get over the barbed wire topped steel mesh fence enclosing the factory's "attached employee housing compound" in Sichuan Province.

But luckiest of all are those American workers who get to have their cake and eat it too. According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, an additional three million adults over age 25 have both jobs and unprecedented leisure time. These are the working Americans living on "unintentional part time employment." This term carries overtones of some sort of accidental consequence of something the worker did. As in: "Oops, silly me! I didn't realize that I cannot support a family on 17 hours work and $120 a week. So now I must spend all my newfound leisure time seeking more "unintentional underemployment." One must admire government speak for its subtlety. Intentional or not, these working folks are experiencing unprecedented new leisure time opportunities as Americans. Whoopee! Sleep in four mornings a week!

Depending on how you look at it, the American people are either freer, or simply getting better at what we have always represented to the world -- a bunch of powerless and unquestioning mental midgets. My money is on the latter.

Midgets can seldom see over the fence. Consequently, we see the world from inside the fence and on such small terms as paychecks and families, and no farther. We cannot identify even with a national level struggle for the same things we want, much less the global one for human dignity and fairness in labor. Exclusive devotion to family is the chief virtue here, along with maniacal devotion to closest football franchise. Moreover it's the only responsibility a man has, the sign of a good man, a real man. Accepting "personal responsibility" for the credit card bills. That one's personal responsibility might also extend to the larger world is incomprehensible.

Meanwhile union workers at downsized Sony and 3M plants in France hold CEOs hostage and threaten to burn down the factories, resulting in larger severance packages and raises for those not made redundant. That's the downside of mental midgetism, every fence is a tall fence. Knowing stuff is too much work. Then too, the fence was made quite a bit taller by the American media blackout of the French union action. I mean hell, J.T., those unions are communist!

My friends abroad tell me it is pitiful to watch such unquestioning bovine Americans. I tell them it isn't much fun to watch from the inside either. Swamped in the manufactured spectacle, fear and distractions we call American culture, few among us notice what our nation has become -- a slickly packaged totalistic and authoritarian state of type new to history. That there has been any loss of self agency among the people is incomprehensible. Two subsequent generations to mine have never known what life once was in America. While not perfect, it was not so thoroughly policed and minutely administrated. For most now, present conditions are like the atmosphere or the weather. Just there. Just the way it is.

The condition among adolescents makes me want to cry. Passing through school metal detectors are a part of life. Being subjected to a piss test to join the chess club, or sniffed by a German shepherd police dog while being lined up against the lockers along with the rest of the student body? Paramilitary terrorist drills in high schools and middle schools? A kid being led out of study hall in handcuffs? Don't even think twice about it. It's just the way it is. And, if I may ask, exactly what is it? Well, one New York state school board calls it "Parental freedom from fear." The Columbine shootings provided the excuse to embed these things into society. Nine-eleven provided the authority to implement them anywhere and everywhere. So now it's just the way it is.

Given the nature of most of my writing and public speaking, I am more or less in the business of questioning authority in my own country, however modestly or meekly that may prove to be in the end. Yet, how individual Americans come to genuinely question authority on their own -- and a few millions of us do, or you would not be reading this -- remains a mystery to me. Apparently, each one arrives there by a different personal route. (Well, duh!) Just like I did.

But when we arrive, despite that there are many others like us, we find ourselves in relative isolation, even on the Internet which is supposed to be our great gathering ground. That there are over 140 million separated, self-focused blogs just may have something to do with it. Dispersed so thinly over this nation of 300 million, our voices are scarcely heard, except between one another and then mostly in atomized groups dealing with one issue.

There are the annual conferences of lefty bloggers, where everyone gets deliriously charged up at the sight of so many fellow political consciousness mutants, other people who get the picture. After that everyone returns to sculpting their indignant prose on company time, until the next big cyber-leftie shebang. Sometimes we see one of our Internet tribe acknowledged in the mainstream media as experts - but only those who are so damned non-threatening middle of the road safe and affluent as to be irrelevant. Arianna Huffington and Jane Hamsher spring to mind. Though Big Brother may well be watching, he ain't watching to see what Arianna is wearing.

Meanwhile, the capability of corpo-government entities to manage citizen behavior through technology, especially media technology, is greater than ever. Researchers study and government contracted companies manage what are known as "screen behaviors" toward what can only be called social control purposes. Just what are screen behaviors and how are they managed? To be frank, I can only verify one screen behavior from personal experience, and that one has to do with porn. It's hard to imagine a more interactive screen experience than that, yet they evidently exist. In any case, media technology, screen behavior, "online recreational outlets," video war gaming, they all have a chilling ring of social conditioning about them.

In a thoroughly conditioned and well managed capitalist consumer society the masses pay money to have their consciousness modified toward the economic ends of their elite managers. Take for instance, the wildly popular modern warfare video game, a murder simulator named "Call of Duty," a kill everything in sight game for the development of this Empire's military forces. The game reaches so deeply into the psyche that even clergymen find themselves in it. Brooklyn Rabbi Micah Kelber, wrote in The Jewish Daily Forward, "As a Jew the video game allows you to experience the closest thing possible to killing the sense of victimhood created by the Holocaust. In fact, it's so satisfying that when you get to shoot down the golden eagle on the Reichstag, while sniping head shots at flame-throwing Nazis, you simply don't want the war to end." The newest version features a Brit SAS commando and a U.S. Marine taking down enemies in both Russia and the Middle East. Shades of things to come? There is no government plot here. We simply carry our own hide to the tanner because we have been well conditioned to do so.

The U.S. Army uses high tech video games in its shopping mall recruitment centers. No one seems to find these "US Army Experience Centers" a bit strange, although in one instance at Philadelphia's Franklin Mall there was protest. If you can call it that. A group of masked protestors delivered a "symbolic complaint," in a brief and scripted "protest rally." They pre-designated a few persons among them to be arrested (for refusal to disperse). Delivering the arrestees to the police upon arrival, everybody then quietly left the mall. "It was a symbolic action," explained one of the protestors, who added, "Oh god, I'm not supposed to speak without permission of the group!" Protest in America sure ain't what it used to be. We used to burn shit down and fight back all the way to the paddy wagon.

The nature and purpose of any government is to control behavior, either for good or ill. Social management of some sort is necessary for peace, order and the general welfare. As a society becomes more complex, governments necessarily exert increasing control until they eventually reach authoritarianism. I did not conclude this. Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin did, except they called it tyranny. Same difference.

Flawed as history reveals those two founders to be, they nevertheless had time to think and then write about what they thought. Likewise their citizen constituency had time to consider what they wrote and how it consciously related to themselves as individuals in a political and economic environment. Entirely unassisted by screen behavior, they concluded that individual liberty was indeed a human right and checks and balances looked to be the best way of preserving that right.

Mother England may have birthed yeoman liberty centuries before 1776, but that geezer Ben, who spent as much time with his pants down as up, and Tom Jeff, who jollied it up with his black mistress even as he wrote laws that preserved black slavery, well, they were nevertheless onto something with this checks and balances thing. And the more citizens thought about it, the more they liked it. We've all been beneficiaries of the time they had to consider their political environment, then take right action during what we now consider simpler, less daunting times. But no times are simple to those living in them. Consider a bunch of farmers who bathed once a week or the yokel village shopkeepers -- who could well go bankrupt if they burned too many candles in a winter season -- taking on mighty England in warfare. I've read their musings and believe me, theirs was focused a focused and meditated decision.

But as American culture and society became more complex with more moving parts, it became more distracting. Decades ago we reached the point where the level of distraction was so high that few were capable of navigating it with enough individual consciousness intact to reflect upon, much less question the nature of our national environment. Like the rest of the planet, Americans mostly respond to the world as it is presented to them each day.

But the world as it is understood by Americans now comes through many layers of distorted filters, most of them purposefully distorted for economic financial gain by one overarching entity or another. So much so as to be atomized, kaleidoscopically diffracted. One cannot identify even the simplest object through a kaleidoscope. Bedazzled, disoriented and detached from reality, we are rendered effectively blind -- thus easily directed and managed. So we listen to the few loud voices to the many and disregard any dissent as background noise.

In fact, as the material, social and political complexities increased beyond our available time and ability to think about, or study and comprehend the larger order of things, we came to desire ever increasing control. The emerging authoritarian one voice to the many neatly solved this problem by answering the important question of our time: "Is anybody in charge here, for chrissake! I'm finding meth vials in my yard, homeless people are coming to my door asking for food or work, a friggin street gang just rented the house next door, and I can't get a customer service operator who speaks English. Who's in charge here?"

The one voice of government, answers, "I AM."

"Good then! Do what you gotta do. Make my decision for me. Because I haven't the slightest friggin idea of what's going on."

And decide it does. Just last month the government, by way of the highest court in the land, made a vitally important decision on behalf of the people of the United States. The Supreme Court ruled that public school officials cannot search the pubescent panties of a thirteen year old girl, on suspicion that she is in possession of Advil for menstrual cramps. (Sanford Unified School District vs. Savana Redding -- Case 08-479). Redding, an eighth grade honor student when the case began in 2001, was almost out of college when it was finally settled. It took six years and Christ only knows how much in legal costs to make this profound decision. The decision was hailed by progressives as "a landmark victory for personal freedom." One more new freedom for Americans. The right to stash an over-the-counter pill anywhere on your body you choose.

We find ourselves awash in new freedoms. There are those aforementioned 17 million folks freed from work. And at least 45 million people are free from the onus of healthcare and all those time consuming trips to the doctor or dentist. More than 60 million folks are freed from the rigors of financial planning because they now have zero net worth, thanks to the mortgage bust. More than a million are free from even having to decide when to eat, shower, take a crap or sleep -- because they are in the joint doing time, mostly for parole violations of some previous offense.

I've been around 62 years and I'm here to tell you that I've never seen such a deluge of freedom in my entire life. That's the foot stompin' truth. And I don't doubt for one minute that there aren't more freedoms coming down the pike. I can feel 'em in these old bones. I just might need a bump of Old Granddad to brace myself for the next one. Lordy, lordy, I just might.

Joe’s points apply to the entire developed world and the developing mind of Earth’s human species. Societies have blinkered and neutered their citizens to maintain a malleable workforce since those hoary, ill remembered yet advanced civilizations lost in the veiling mists of the last Ice Age. The domesticated primate template has been well established for millennia and the path toward true freedom has been occluded by endless torments, inexorable sufferings, dumb numbness and the simple modern dissolution of meaningless mesmerising distractions. The total centralised control of humankind may well appear to be approaching an ultimate culmination, even as we’re all undergoing some undreamt of apotheosis – along with the rest of long suffering Planet Earth – yet the best is yet to come. ‘Think of it as evolution in action.’

Specialisation has dumbed down and narrowed our once universally adept and flexible species and empires have enslaved and belittled their subjects to the point of ingrained servility, but those who aspire to be Renaissance men and women have never had a better chance or time in which to achieve hitherto unrealized potentials. The future isn’t what it used to be – but that can easily be viewed as a positive outcome, given the short-sighted perspectives of most potentates and control freaks throughout the ages. Stupid presidents, crazed prime ministers and other co-opted, one-eyed front men for the self-styled global elite are hardly a new contivance.

The travails and travesties now faced by all the far-flung tribes of the world are the results of our own actions, and those of our revered ancestors – who are, after all, fundamentally identical to we ‘moderns’, our own alter egos (if not actually we, ourselves) existing in another time and place.

We can achieve anything we set our hearts and minds to – for better and worse. The proof is all around us. Tinkering with the phenomena of the world like mindless dilettantes is a recipe for disaster, but the current paradigm is about to alter and a new understanding of ancient verities is dawning. A truer understanding of the nature of the universe, mind and self are awaiting discovery by a new curious generation of seekers, and pearls of extraordinary wisdom, transformative techniques and transcendent technologies abound all around.

Through our thoughts, minds and deeds we mould the mindstuff of potential into the world we and we, our descendents experience, yet the only real solutions lie within, beyond the surface realms of the simplistic navel-gazing we mistake for wordly enlightenment. There is no solution to be found inside the inherently locked-in limitations of language-dominated consciousness, but we all have access to a deeper reality. There is no past or future to the indwelling deity that resides at your truest core; the present is an ongoing eternity. The optimal present dwells in the centre of the cyclone, beyond the self-articulating mind of humankind; beyond the thinking monkey mind, at the universally shared source of all.
