Olde Time Regional Lie

posted Thursday, 5 May 2005

A religion is a region with a li(e) in it, so truth isn't an issue with mass propagandised beliefs based on faith in prophets and other profiteers. As the Wiccans say, 'She offers not faith but certainty."

However, the surreptitious Western plan for the next decade or few is to institute a new faith that is more inclusive of the female - by the acceptance of Mary Mum and/or Magdalene as a 'daughter of god' - to save that olde time regional lie from death by irrelevance. It's believed the old saw can be revitalised by more direct input from the mainstay of faiths the world over - women, those who rock the cradle and rule the child mind.

It's also hoped that Christinanity and Islime will be united into a force which can hold large parts of the ignorant populations of the world in thrall for, oh, say another millennium or so.

At the summits of most cultures is a medievalist feudal mentality, where the main concerns include territory, hereditary bloodlines and eternal rivalry. Religions are for the masses. What lie will sustain their meager lives a little longer?

Richard Dawkins is brilliant and right on. The greatest problem is not a dellusional belief in God, but rather our dellusional belief in the fairytale of money and politics.
